Still going strong after Dr. Renfro did surgery 20 years ago! I know everyone is different but mine was definitely successful. He is such a great doctor! I highly recommend him.

I was very impressed with his confidence and the successful results he had with trigeminal nerve surgery. After many years (20+) of suffering from excruciating pain, I had the surgery in 2019 and it was the best decision I've ever made. Woke up pain free and still remain pain free to this day!! At that point, he became my best friend ??

They don’t care about their patients. Dr Renfro referred us to an ENT since my mom needed to have a pituitary tumor removed…. The ENT was terrible Lewis I believe was his name. Never heard from them. Even after speaking with our endocrinologist personally and she explained my mom heeded to have surgery. Dr Renfro was arrogant the last visit we had with him. NEVER heard back to schedule surgery…. In fact the ENT he referred us to didn’t even have privileges at our hospital to operate. Would not take my dog here. Thank GOD for doctors who actually care we are now under the care of a good neurosurgeon in Dallas. Thankful . Things happen for a reason.

I had my back surgery in 2017 everything went great. Now I’m back maybe for a second surgery but I trust Dr. Rr fro and his staff w my healthcare.

Very personable ~ labeled my husband as having dementia ~ I feel like that’s the reason my husbands other Doctors failed to care for him ~ in late September my husband spent a week at UTHEALTH Athens the ER Doctor there said at the end of that time he didn’t think Jerry had dementia and was he ever tested for chronic leukemia!? We went back to The Hope Cancer Center and got him tested turned out to be the worst leukemia - my husband died a month later

Dr Mark Renfro Neurosurgeon, implanted my (DBS) Deep Brain Stimulator in 2008 along my Neuroscience movement disorder specialist Dr George Plotkin. The entire Neurological division and staff are ON TOP OF BUSINESS!! HIGHLY QUALIFIED! I have Parkinson's and they virtually help control most all of my symptoms, at ETMC UT!! I have subsequently had four more brain neuro stimulator surgery's, to replace batteries and neurostimulator generators, over the last 10 years, and they all go without a hitch!

ALL I WANTED WAS 50% LESS PAIN. IM ALMOST AT 100% LESS PAIN AT 4 MONTHS POST OP. MY LOWER BACK WAS A WRECK. DR. RENFRO IS AN OUTSTANDING NEUROLOGICAL SURGEON. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE INCLUDING FAMILY

I live in Florida but I did not consider having anyone else performing back surgery on me based on a previous very successful surgical procedure by Dr. Renfro in 2011!! In both cases, Dr. Renfro gave me his very detailed and easily understood opinions and options prior to the actual surgery. I highly commend Dr. Renfro for his very successful and pain reducing results - I can only hope that this latest success will last even longer than my 2011 experience!! “A job well done”!!
