Randy H. Ekins does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
Giving one star because site does not allow zero stars. Dr Ekins saw my husband in the ER for severe leg pain after recent Covid infection. We were concerned for DVT (blood clots in the deep veins). My husband also refused the morphine that was ordered because he prefers to not take narcotics, so he was not given any pain medication at all. After an arterial scan came back clear he stated a venous scan was not needed and he could not possibly have a DVT because the arteries were clear. He told my husband he couldn't see anything wrong with his leg and sent him home to follow up with his doctor. 2 days later my husband went to another ER because the pain was only getting worse and he was not able to get and appointment that day with his doctor. A venous scan was done and showed blood clots the full length of his leg from his groin to his ankle. I won't allow this doctor to treat any of my family again.
Extremely insensitive, biased, and prejudicial. I've had a previous brain bleed with lots of documentation as to the headaches that resulted... including having an increase in intracranial pressure. He treated me as if I was a dope fiend off the street. And as if that wasn't insulting enough, after I explained to him that I had been taking my PRN fioricet, which includes acetaminophen, he offered me a Tylenol when I came in with severe pain. Never will I allow him to provide care for me again

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
