Charles A Brooks's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr Brooks about a year ago. He was right on time, explained what was going to happen, and was always available when I had a question. His staff was always polite and very well trained. My one year follow-up result show great results. I was and am very happy.

What an amazing Doctor, Compassionate, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Not only is he a great Doctor but his entire staff are wonderful. He and his staff will safe your life.

Very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. He spent a lot of time with us at our first meeting to fully explain the process of radiation for bladder cancer, stage II. He also sees each patient weekly to discuss the progess of the treatment or to answer any questions.

He walked out on my consult twice and I heard him joking with his secretary outside my room while she cackled away about her date. I waited over an hour for him to come in for the appointment. Much better places to go in the area...completely rude and uncaring.

Dr. Brooks is certainly an expert in the field of treating prostate cancer. Highly recommended. Great staff. Great equipment. They made a rough time easy.

My husband and I met with Dr.Brooks to interview him. My husband was recently diagnosed with stage two prostate cancer and needs to begin treatment. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a doctor who is very knowledgable,a great listener and is not afraid to answer questions regarding his experience. He was also open to thoughts on different or alternative treatment. Dr. Brooks impressed me because we had interviewed a couple of other 'Radiology Oncologists" and he was the only one who took the time to give my husband a physical. Not only did he do a physical and a digital exam but he also asked questions regarding diet,exercise and nutritional supplements! (Unusual these days to say the least). We told him that we were on our way to Johns Hopkins to seek a multi- discipline approach because of my husbands health history and age. He was more than willing to work with us on that approach. Unlike the other doctors that we interviewed with,Dr. Brooks did not ignore the fact that my husband has an exsisting heart condition when he discussed "chemical" treatments with us.Lastly, I would like to add that we felt that Dr.Brooks took his time with us and explained in great depth the kinds of treatments that he feels might be appropriate for my husband and the reasons why. He also made us feel as though he was truly interested in my husband, not as a disease or illness, but a human being.He saw us as people and not just another couple of patients. It was very obvious to us that Dr. Brooks is still very passionate about what he does and that it is not just a "job" that he does.I urge anyone who is looking for a "Specialist" to take the time to meet and discuss your treatment options with Dr. Brooks.
