He saved my life. I’ve been on dialysis going on 5 years and although I was in a bad mindset when I was diagnosed, he saw beyond that and has always given me the best care. Not only does he encourage you to stay positive during the start of your dialysis journey, he makes sure to go the extra mile while caring for you. I’ve never thought of changing doctors nor have I ever felt as though he doesn’t listen. He puts our needs first and will always always have a heart of gold!

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Flavio Alvarez for many years at the Toepperwein Rd location. The staff we interacted with have always been courteous and professional and our wait times for the most part have always been very reasonable and acceptable. Our experiences as patients one on one with Dr Alvarez have always been thorough, informative, professional and demonstrably caring. Never once have we ever had a need to consider a change to our Nephrologist.

very disappointed. My Mom had a visit on 9-10 at 345 and waited in the room until 450 when the nurse informed my Mom that Dr Alvarez had left already. Called the office 9-11-19 asking for Dr Alvarez to call me back but still not have heard back from anyone at the Toepperwein Office

my 85 year old Mom had an appt. at 345 was put in room at 410 to wait for doctor Alvarez nurse came in at 450 stating Dr Alvarez had already left. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I called 9-11-19 left a message with his nurse for him to call me back and still no phone call.
