Always attentive and thorough! I had shoulder issues and my husband had a hip replacement. Always took time to answer any and all questions. Did not have any issues. Dr. Matey explained everything regarding the procedure. Couldn’t have asked for a better outcome or experience!!

A complete disappointment, he never mentioned all the possibilities, including that my knee could get worse or stay the same. It got a lot worse after surgery..Now I’m going to Sugarland for a knee replacement.

I’ve had rotator cuff surgery, spiral fracture on my right foot, broken fibula, knee replacement all by Dr Matey. Each surgery was a definite success. He is a caring and dedicated surgeon!

He did knee replacement surgery on my Dads knee. The stitches he used to close were infested with Staff MRSA. For a year .my Dad suffered horribly. This Dr refused to even try to figure out why Dad was so sick .....a different DR did exploratory surgery and found bad stitches laden with MRSA.....my Dad

I had two surgeries with Dr. Matey ( total hip and rotator cuff). He did a remarkable job and I cant imagine traveling out of town for a surgery when we have incredible and capable surgeons such as Dr . Matey and his colleagues! I highly recommend him and his team , Dr . Followwill , Dr.Binz and Dr. Perez

Dr Matey has performed three major joint replacement surgeries for me, both hips and one knee. I cant say enough about what a great surgeon he is. He is the utmost professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing that kind of treatment.
