MIguel A Sierra Hoffman's Online Review Report Card

Very unfortunate experience. Hospitalized with gram-negative bacterial infection on Oct 3. Saw Dr Hoffman once, Andrea twice. On Oct 13 find out via nurse that he signed off on patient 3 days ago without notifying patient or other staff. Patient still hospitalized with unidentified gram-negative bacteria. Unprofessional and inconsiderate of patient health.

Horrible bedside manner. Don’t question him because he will drop you as a patient which was the best thing that could have happened. After 6 to 8 weeks of treatment from Dr Sierra Hoffman my mother was still very sick. Transferred to different hospital in another city with different doctor and guess what. Dr Sierra Hoffman made the wrong diagnosis and used the wrong medicine. So the man that thinks he is God’s gift to medicine is not!!! He is rude, talks down to his patients and family, horrible doctor and person. GET A SECOND OPINION

This doctor has a horrible bedside manner and that is an understatement. When I asked questions and questioned his diagnosis he dropped my Mother as his patience but no one told us that. After six weeks of treatment she still had the staff infection and was transfer to Austin. Long story short Dr Hoffman was wrong on her diagnosis, wrong on her treatment and even though he thinks he is God’s gift to medicine he is not. Horrible person, horrible doctor and please get a second opinion

Just had an ugly experience with Andrea. Needs to be more understanding of what people are going thru and not discriminate!!!

Over several years, Dr. Miguel Sierra-Hoffman has been consulted for my condition at DeTar Hospital Navarro. He is very personable and caring. His orders for my care have resulted in my wellness. In follow-up at his office, his staff were very friendly, considerate and helpful. My wife (who is a retired ICU RN) and I agree that the care rendered by Doctor Sierra-Hoffman is excellent and second to none!

Dr Sierra Hoffman is sole reason my dad is alive today. Hospitalist and General Surgeon said no hope for my dad and we should pull plug. But Sierra Hoffman took his case and saved his life

The first time I met Dr Sierra-Hoffman he said that he was going to help me, and that’s exactly what he has done. My quality of life has improved immeasurablely. I cannot thank Dr Sierra-Hoffman and Joanne enough. If you have a condition that requires you see a specialist in infectious disease, pulmonology, these are the people to see.

my mother had been struggling with getting a diagnosis. he came in and nailed it. In 1 day of starting her on a new different medication she improved. EXCELLENT. We later followed up in his clinic, staff was friendly. A+++++++

I've never been to his office but DR.Hoffman at Detar hospital and including DR.Hoffman and his other members of the staff have been really nice to me and my health continues to improve and that's been a very long process but I do appreciate everything

No only have I had the privilege in working with Dr. Sierra Hoffman but, he was the go to doctor when my son became ill. I knew he would be the one to figure out what was going on, and he did. My son is now back up and on his feet. I highly recommend Dr. Sierra-Hoffman to everyone.
