List of Sanjeev Bhatia's Reviews
If you are looking for a doctor that listens to your complaints, shows you care, compation and understanding. GO SOME WHERE ELSE! He was rude, accused me of drug seeking (all I asked for was thyroid meds), talked over me, and was ugly to his wife assistant. Too much for me...this review only gets one start for a very nice office staff.
Attn. Dr. Bhatia. What kind of place is this? As many years mi and my husband have been going there to be denied if service. Today my husband went and had covid test, negative. His purpose was to get his allergy shots. Instead the nurse partition suggests that he get over the counter meds. Doesn't want to check his vital signs. Nothing. I called to complain and tge receptionist says because he was tested for covid they can't do 2 visits. Liars, I had sinuses and throat infection, told to be tested first and then a nurse partition saw me. No wonder you all had bad ratings. We will never go there and I'll make sure I tell my people not to go there.
A doctor is supposed to listen and help you when you come to him. But a doctor should never cut you off (3 times) and tell you that “I have heard it all before” A doctor, your family doctor, is supposed to help you, not assume you are abusing the system without actually checking. A doctor should never cut a patient off because he thinks he’s “heard it all” No! You haven’t heard my story! I’m not abusing the system. I have a legitimate reason to ask for medication. But you assume (maybe because of my appearance) or because I came to my “doctor” for help! But no, he didn’t help, he categorized my visit as someone who is an addict and who abuses the system. Sorry I’m on pain from my lupus, fibromyalgia, RA, and other diseases. And you’re busy to take the time to hear me out and listen!!!!
Staff is very unprofessional, you hardly ever see Dr Bathia . The nurse practitioners are the ones you visit with and half the time you have to call them back becasue they forget to send in new or refills for medication and sometimes didnt even write it down in the charts and so they want you to come in again for another visit.. now we will be searching for a new physician. Much time wasted here ...
I have been a patient for years , I have always received complete and courteous service from all the staff and nurses . I also have received complete examinations , tests , blood work and thorough analysis from all the physicians at the clinic , along with explanations to all the above . In a world where people are treated as a number , you are somebody special to this clinic and everyone who works there . I have always been treated with respect and they have a awesome bedside manner , which isn't even taught in medical school anymore . You will feel better about going to this clinic , compared to some of the others here in Victoria and I wont mention names , I am the late Dr. F. L. Duckworths son and this is the best , and I know great physicians I was raised by one , thank you
I went there with a concern. I was seen by a Nurse Practitioner who was very thorough and she listened to me. She sent me for an exam where it was discovered that I had breast cancer. Thanks to her, it was found early and I am now cancer-free, thanks be to God!
I went to see Dr. Bahtia when I was sick. I was immediately given an EKG, blood work, and told I needed a chest ex-ray. After the tests I was told they would call me (no diagnosis). When the blood results came back, they were abnormal so I went in for more blood work and an abdominal ultrasound. Still no diagnosis. I was called a week later by someone that I thought was a nurse, that is not, to tell me that the new blood work was also abnormal (2 tests ordered the second time). He told me to take the medication I was given and see them in a month! I WASN'T GIVEN ANY MEDICATION OR A DIAGNOSIS! IT GETS BETTER! I go in the next day and ask to see the doctor about results. A real nurse called me back and went over them with me. She didn't know right away but did explain one of the results. She said let me find out what this means. She turns to the computer and types in WWW.GOOGLE.COM!!!!!! I AM LIVID RIGHT NOW! I have had normal blood work for 6 years so the results were upsetting. I am taking them to a real physician to find out what is going on with me. I didn't pay to have google diagnose me so I will be requesting a refund from them!
I made an appointment so see Dr. Bhatia for a consult to determine if he should be my PCP. He did not show for the appointment. A nurse practitioner came instead and said that he rarely saw patients. She did a rudimentary exam and entered mostly incorrect info on my chart. Prescribed meds that i did not need or want and did not prescribe meds that she recommended. Will not go back.
I take an elderly aunt for her yearly checkups. She was told to fast because of tests. We waited a long time for each test. She was given an EKG, bone density and blood work. By the time she was finished with her bone density test it was 10:30. The appointment was at 8:00. As she was walking from the table, she slipped a little, she said she was dizzy. Mind you she had fasted and is 85 years old. Then she had blood work. The lady who tried to draw blood was incompetent. I had to put a stop to everything when she wanted to draw blood out of the foot since all her veins in her arms collapsed. She was upset and crying. Finally, when we saw the doctor, he wanted us to go to the emergency room and stay overnight because she slipped when she was dizzy. I told him she was hungry. He argued with me and put in her paperwork that I refused to take her to the emergency. I took my aunt to get her blood work at the professional building by Detar. It took less than 1 minute for them to start drawing blood and she was in no pain! Every time you call the office about something minor, the doctor wants to put her in the hospital. He is very good on the first visit with his "good" bedside manner, but after that, he wants your money and has PA's and Nurse Practitioners take care of you. Beware!
When I first saw Dr. Bhatia I had been searching for the right doctor for a long while; I told him my symptoms and he ordered more tests than any one person reasonably needs, but because I had been sick for several years and had no diagnosis I agreed to the expensive tests. Amazingly, every test was "abnormal" and I had to have another round of useless testing. I had severe migraines, chronic pain, muscle spasms, and tachycardia. The diagnosis he gave me? Anxiety. Naturally, I started looking for another doctor. As it turns out I had a condition called Chiari Malformation, which was would have been visible on my first MRI but Dr. Bhatia must not have noticed. When I was finally diagnosed my surgeon told me the build up of pressure in my brain was so bad I would not live long without surgery. The misdiagnosis was obviously my biggest complaint, but I honestly think he runs unnecessary tests just to run up the bill. I wouldn't see him again if my life depended on it, and definitely would never recommend him to anyone. I would put zero stars if it were an option.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
