Dr. Brown is excellent. I live out of town and have been going to see him for about a decade (driving about 1.5hrs one way) since I had a valve surgery under his care. I live 5 minutes from one of the largest hospitals in central Texas, but still drive to Waco to see this Cardiologist. I would go to no one else.

Dr. Brown is one of the best cardiologists in Central Texas. He always takes the time with you to ask you how are you? Then he never lets you think that anything is serious with him. But he does it in a way so that you won't worry. But of course we do worry.But he always has a smile for you. But he isn't good when it comes to telling him your problems. He never wants to hear it. I guess he doesn't want to get down himself. Who can blame him. I honestly try not to say anything if I am worried.

Dr. Brown is willing to listen to what you, as a patient, want to do about your situation. When I asked for an additional test instead of a heart cath, he was willing to order the test. It revealed that I don't need the catherization. I am so glad he listened. He has a good bed side manner.
