DO NOT go here
You are on hold forever, cannot make appt
This place hangs up the phone on me when trying to get a new appointment. Unprofessional work place, and terrible customer service. Do not trust these people they are not compassionate humans working in a mental health clinic. Garbage place.
We had a very unprofessional experience with Dr. Rhoda Bickerstaff, and do not recommend this clinic at all based on our experience. On our first meeting with her, we were led into a room where she was on a TV screen to meet with us (so disorienting -- it looked like she was lying in bed on a pillow -- no context whatsoever). She never introduced herself or said if she was a doctor or not. The other lady in the room didn't even introduce us to her either, or explain what was going on.Dr. Bickerstaff asked how my sons meds were working, we said it seemed fine, and then she asked if we had any questions before we left. I told her, I wasn't sure as this was our first meeting. She then realized that my son was a new patient and not someone else--she had him confused with another patient. She then asked a few more questions that the case manager just asked us in the other room. It didn't seem like she had gone over any of my son's records. She asked again how my sons meds were, and I told her I think it was doing well (I'm not a psychiatrist). She proceeded to say he was on a low dose, so she was going to increase it (almost double it). She didn't really give any reason as to why. I also asked her if we could get other testing to rule out anything else, and she said she already "evaluated" him and did the testing. So confusing! I'm not even sure if she is a real psychiatrist or just a nurse practitioner. It was such an unprofessional appointment and I felt very uncomfortable. The office called later to ask for my son's weight before they sent in the Rx to the pharmacy. The Dr. hadn't even checked to see if the dosage she prescribed was safe for him or not. I told them it was all in the records the hospital sent over, and the office realized that it was. Again--so unprofessional and very concerning. We are still waiting for the Rx to go to our pharmacy, and it's been almost 3 weeks for them to send it over. I already called and reminded them to send it--but still nothing. All this to say, we are firing her and seeing someone else. No way I am going back there, especially when it's near impossible to get a hold of them over the phone to check on a Rx.
Stay away. This place is useless. I took my daughter to try to get her help improve her focus at school. I see the Dr. and right off she asks how my daughter is doing on medication. My daughter has never taken medication she is a new patient. RED Flag! The Dr seemed out if it. She seemed to make up her own diagnosis. I also noticed she tried to get me to answer questions to her liking. She quickly prescribed us medication for ADHD and a separate one to control her behavior. She also suggested I buy a blood pressure monitor to monitor her pressure.Another Red Flag... I don't think my daughter has a behavioral issue more like a focus issue. So off we went. It's been a month since that appointment the prescription was NEVER called in and I doubt it will at this point. Oh and if you call the office nobody answers the phone. I hope this helps any future moms trying to get their kids the help they need. Just look elsewhere. This place is a waste of time.
My daughters appointment was set for 715 am been sitting here waiting cause the front door is locked and can't get in side
Just a very strange experience. I took my husband because he's been struggling with ADHD symptoms. He got paired with a doctor who literally told us that she doesn't specialize in ADHD, but instead specializes in mood disorders. We just thought she might recommend someone else, but then she started asking questions that were obviously pointed towards a diagnosis of a mood disorder. Then she started asking me questions about/focusing on my personal mood disorder, which is well managed and not at all what we were there to address. We were there solely because my husband was having hallmark symptoms of adult ADHD. The very things that he came in to discuss were not even addressed. She ended the appointment by blindsiding us and saying that my husband has bipolar and she wanted to put him on a mood stabilizer. We are by no means medical experts, but we have lots of experience with bipolar in myself and are confident that is not what he is dealing with. Besides that, his concerns about his symptoms were ignored, words were put in his mouth, and this diagnosis was obviously forced. He is not opposed to medication but did wish to begin with other resources to manage his symptoms. This physician was not hiding her intention to force him into a box that she was familiar with. I understand that no clinic is perfect, but this was beyond unhelpful.
Lol they made me drive all the way here and wait for my appointment. Doctors aren’t even in office, it’s through a screen, why not just do it from my house? It turns out the doctor they scheduled me with doesn’t even treat the condition I have, so why tf would you even match me with them? Now I have to wait a few months to find someone else. Brilliant.
Wonderful organization, helpful, got me better, and always worked with me on my problems an been so nice an haven't asked for anything! They are a true heaven sent and blessing!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
