My Dallas doctor gave a recommendation to see Dr. Mutchler since I've moved out to Weatherford area. Called to make an appt. and first thing asked was what insurance I have. Since I am recently disabled, I have no insurance. They said they don't take any patient who has no insurance. I guess they don't care that I actually DO have the money for self-pay. I told my doctor in Dallas about it. Too bad Dr. Mutchler apparently is totally in it for the money and doesn't care about patient well being. So much for the Hippocratic Oath.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I had been doing some research on a good Dr and Dr. Michael Mutchler was one covered by my insurance that I decided I WANTED to have as my Doctor.But because I had visited an ER, after recently moving from out of state and was encouraged to see a PCP very soon, and visited a physician in the same group ONE TIME he will NEVER in my life take me as a new patient. Even if I call the other doctor FIRST and ask for permission or a referral or w/e. The reason I was given? Because it is HIS policy..... What?Not the group he works with or anyone else, but HIS policy? I'm not going to become/remain a patient of a group that has a Dr with a God complex like this.So much for having a great reputation. I never even got past the phone call to see if he was a good guy or not. But it seems as though he is not all he is cracked up to be in the reviews.

Dr. Mutchler and his staff are always so attentive and kind. They genuinely care about me and my health. I never have to wait more than just a few minutes after I arrive for an appointment. Dr. Mutchler is one of the best diagnosticians I have ever had.

I have always been treated with utmost respect from Dr. Mutchler and the staff at Lone Star Medical... from the first phone call to the most recent visit to his office. The staff has always been courteous, even when I called to possibly get an appointment on the spur of the moment. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mutchler.

Dr Muchler is great but hope you never have to speak to his office manager. Exceptionally rude and deliberately unhelpful.

I am so fortunate to have Dr. Mutchler for a doctor. He takes the time to listen and understand. It's a shame more doctors are not more like Dr. Mutchler. I would also like to point out that not only Dr. Mutchler the best there is but so are the nurses and office personnel.

Dr. Mutchler is a thorough doctor who is also compassionate. He gets things done right away, provides advice, technical know-how, stays abreast of new developments and treatments, and always checks for interactions. He saved my husband a hospital visit and does x-ray and blood work in house. His nurse is compassionate and caring. I have been a long time patient, so I speak from experience, not just a momentary reaction. In fact, it seems he gets better every year!
