List of Robyn R. Young's Reviews
Yes!!! Wish I could give more stars. She is thorough and takes the time to listen and answer questions. Other reviews indicate sometimes long wait times, but I think that’s because she gives Each patient the time they need (at what can be a very stressful time for them). I leave feeling like I am her most important patient and that it genuinely matters to her that I get the best and most up to date care possible. Cancer sucks, but having a compassionate, knowledgeable, highly skilled professional on your side sure helps!
I am a patient of Dr Young’s and have been for 21 years. I also worked for her as her patient navigator. I found her to be thorough and compassionate with me and her patients. She investigates all symptoms a patient presents with and makes sure she knows of any new symptoms by questions and answers. She reads patient reports herself and in fact insists she has all a patient’s test and lab results before she sees them in the office. She tells patients was their estimated survival percentage is if they don’t take the treatment she advises them to take.
The Center for cancer and blood disorders is a great example of corporate medicine gone bad. The overriding mission - despite all their Platitudes - is profits before patients. I received increasingly poor care over the years. It seems the only people with any power to do anything are the physicians and they are kept so insulated from the patients, good luck getting the help you need when you need it. The lowest paid employees seem to be in charge of carrying out doctors orders. They are non responsive, create delays and screw up the orders. Inter office communication is a joke. Accountability is a joke. Dealing with cancer is not nearly as difficult as dealing with this bureaucracy. I should have left a long time ago.
Dr. Young is a very caring, knowledgeable doctor. I feel blessed that she is my doctor. She takes her time with you and makes sure you understand everything. She is down to earth and explains things very well. I know she saved my life.
Appt was cancelled day before after 5 wk wait. No reason. Asst was rude and wouldn’t return phone calls
the word wonderful, caring , understanding, listening does not say enough to describe dr young and I have been seeing her since 4-14
I have been a patient of Dr. Young for 3 years. I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. After my surgery and radiation treatment, I have been under the care of Dr. Young. I feel so fortunate to have her as my Oncologist and friend. She is well informed, thorough, compassionate and professional. Everything you could expect and want in a physician caring for you during the most traumatic time of your life, is exemplified in Dr. Robyn Young.
She was my oncologist in 2004. She healed me!! Her and Peter LaNasa. Great doctor and fantastic bed side manner!!
If you are considering her as your oncologist.......don’t. It’s true she relies on her staff to read the reports and then misinformation is passed onto you the patient. I was treated for months with Ibrance and should not have been on it. Wasted months of my life! Thank goodness I moved to another city and got correct treatment. But I can’t get that time back. I am terminal and every day is precious. Please be sure to get a second opinion if you are considering her.
Answers all your questions, takes very good care of her patients. I miss not having her for a doctor anymore. She is awesome !!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
