She said that it didnt matter what we want for my grandmothers DNR status that she would choose. She prescribed and gave her promethazine when you can’t give it to some who had what she had and caused her to have a small heart attack and subsequently died. Horrible doctor and now she’s almost the same age as my grandma was when she was her doctor.

This Doctor does not know what she is doing. She should not be practicing medicine. Beware.

My dad was referred to Dr. Harkins because his ekg came back abnormal and he needed clearance for surgery. She was so friendly and so knowledgeable, she made the visit so pleasant with her wonderful sense of humor. She seemed to really care about my dad and that meant the world to me.

Doctor Harkins' beside manner was non-existent. She made it clear that I was on her time, and that she was only there to help me in so much as that help directly agreed with and did not question her means or conclusions, and even then, only to the point that this help was timely convenient for her. I was belittled, and left in a terrible state.
