My daughter who is 12 years old has a growth on her eye that was to be removed through a procedure that required a hospital visit. I was told we could opt to do an in office procedure instead. We attempted the procedure and I was in the room while the doctor proceeded to be rude and inconsiderate of my daughter. I asked her to stop the procedure after she was rude to myself and my daughter. She said she didn’t know how invasive the cyst was on her eyeball (however she had been her patient for years.) she made it sound as if it was somehow my fault she wasn’t familiarized with what was going to take place in office. After my daughter cried and we left to try to schedule the procedure for out of office we were told we would be contacted to get on the schedule. We were never called or contacted. I never write reviews but I will never take my daughter back to this doctor.

Dr. Gunderson has been taking care of my son since he was three. She has improved his vision over the past two years and he will be perfect by the end of January. With correction of course.

The Doctor cane highly recommended. But then, my child needed a brain MRI, and the staff didn’t order it, and did not return my calls about the order. This to me is negligence. I would not recommend the physician that employs uncaring support staff. I have to now go through the process again, paying another copay to find another physician. Worst of all my child suffers.

Dr. Gunderson and staff have treated my son for 8+ years (since he was about 2 weeks old). I cannot say enough about Dr. Gunderson's expertise in pediatric ophthalmology. She and her staff make their young patients comfortable, and she has always taken the time to explain any procedure or status update every visit. We have moved twice n the last 8 years, ans we continue to commute (2 hours +) to maintain consistency in his eye care.
