David A Fairweather's Online Review Report Card

Dr. David Fairweather is Beyond Amazing. He has performed Surgery on me in the past. He is a Great Unique Surgeon and not forgetting to mention he has a Heart of Gold.

Dr. Fairweather, is very professional and caring. He takes pride of his work. I had a very easy and comfortable procedure with minimal scarring and minimal pain. I highly recommend Dr. Fairweather.

He was the surgeon at UTMB when I was a patient there possibly facing surgery. (I ended up not having to have it because my prayers were answered by mighty God!) this doctor is so down to earth and has amazing bedside manners! Answers questions and explains so clearly!! AWESOME doctor!

Procedure was exactly as described in pre-op meeting. Staff was knowledgeable of my situation on follow-up.

Dr. Fareweather is kind, caring and knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and spent good time with me before and after surgery, he had a sense of humor too and makes you feel comfortable despite the stress patients usually have before surgeries. I would recommend him for friends and family.

Very kind and caring. It's as if Dr. Fairweather is more than a Doctor. He cares about the person.

This review is long overdue because Dr. David Fairweather actually saved my life in December of 2018. I spent the entire month of December in the hospital. I did not get better until the admitting hospital consulted Dr. Fairweather on my rare and deadly case (parapharyngeal abscess). He stepped in just in the nick of time preventing needless surgery. The admitting hospital wanted to cut my chest open. I had been unconscious, on a ventilator and tube feed for 2 weeks. Sepsis was spreading fast. Dr. Fairweather stuck with through this entire process and was a great advocate for me at that hospital. Instead of cutting my chest open he made a small scar at the base of my neck that allowed a Big 10 centimeter abscess in my neck to successfully drain. The admitting hospital tried to do it but missed it leaving me with an ugly scar on my face. How could they miss a 10 centimeter abscess in my neck but they did. Thank God for Dr. David Fairweather! I am a live and doing well. He also did some scare revision which was amazing also. In my situation he was OUTSTANDING!!!

Great Bedside manners! Awesome physician. Dr. Fairweather cares about his patients. He always do what's best for the patient and is very honest. He takes time to listen abd answer all questions. I recommend him to anyone needing his services!

Surgeon Fairweather was very good with his first appearance but AFTER my 1st of 3 surgeries, he was very sarcastic and belittling which previewed his god like mentality. My daughter picked up on this real fast (she works in the medical field) and told him how belittling he is plus MANY other things. One of my other daughters tried to find him in the hospital because he left me stranded in a bad situation without concern I was not allowed food or water for over a day which was not necessary, only his way of showing he is in charge. He did not explain things I needed to know when asked, he does not know how to listen to his patients. He will always remain a surgeon but never a doctor until he learns to listen to his patients and put them first. He also shows vengeance when he is challenged with questions and concerns.
