I am a transgender male. Dr. Wegge did my chest reconstruction surgery. I am proud to be a patient of Dr. Wegge, and my chest came out like I imagined and wished for—no dog ears; no uneven/ragged incision lines; small proportioned even nipples that look natural; incision lines at the appropriate height congruent to my build and pectorals; no drains. I am pleased to call Dr. Wegge my surgeon. From my first appointment through the recovery process, she has been responsive and caring.

I received a breast cancer diagnosis during quarantine for COVID that required surgery and reconstruction. It was a stressful time, but Dr. Wegge was wonderful to work with. She was thorough, caring, professional, and highly skilled. She was patient in addressing all my questions. The surgery went very smoothly. Kudos as well to her nurse, Tara, who was awesome. I always felt like I was in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Wegge!
