List of Mohamed Shalaby's Reviews
Read all of the other one star reviews.. My test results were lost which is completely unacceptable. The front desk staff is very immature and unprofessional.. Myself, my wife and my mother have all been patients of Dr. Shalaby's but we are now going to see a different cardiologist. His staff is always changing- the lady I used to see at the front desk that had been there for several years is now gone and the new girls seem clueless.. He really needs to consider getting new staff if he wants to keep his patients.
Dr. Shalaby is the best. He takes his time to explain everything. He’s very thorough and very nice. I highly recommend him. 😃
Dr. Shalaby took the time to run tests on me even though as a young seemingly healthy individual, I shouldn’t have had these issues. I thought I was fine! After running the tests we found what my health issues were and he matched me with a medication that is working without troublesome side effects. I’ve been dealing with high blood pressure for years and thanks to Dr. Shalaby we finally found a solution. I finally have hope again that I’ll live to raise my child.
Dr. Shalaby is an excellent and thorough Cardiologist whom I have referred to many of my colleagues, family and friends! If there are conditions relegated to treatment this physician is the one for you... He does refer out, all tests and matters of the heart are managed here..
I went to see this Dr in April of 2021, for heart plantations, he ran a couple of tests including a stress test. I was terrified of the test as I knew I was not going to be able to last long. But I did I made it through. When all my test came back, I go to see the dr and he starts telling me my results and ask the MA where her stress test ? she like we don't know we lost it . He gets up takes her outside and tells her what do you mean its lost, long story short , I didn't return, I changed dr , how can you loose someone test like that? I know I could of retaken it but no thank you. Pay more attention ladies.
Dr Shalaby and his staff are the greatest! I was in and out in an hour, probably less. He was very detailed about test results. Great dr!
Initially went in to see Dr. Shalaby due to my BP readings being over 200. They did an EKG which I assume were ok since they were not disclosed readings to me. The back of my neck and forehead plus left arm were in pain. I do have a history of high BP but not this high ...but I go in to be on the safe side. Doctor prescribed two new meds and two tests to be done the following week. I went home and around 6pm called the pharmacy. No new prescriptions were on file for me. Called Drs office number and spoke to the after hours receptionist and asked for the Dr on call to call me. At 9:30 pm no dr had called me back. At this point I'm heading to the ER - BP IS at 208.No beds in the ER available so my time til 2am is spent in the hallway of the ER.Points of concern:1. There is no Dr on call for Shalaby2. All prescriptions are called in to the pharmacy after Drs office hours.3. Sam the receptionist claims to have called mine in after hours yet Walgreens shows receiving it next day. If I was in so much pain why not hand me the paper prescription OR call it in immediately.4. Called and talked to TWO different receptionists to cancel any future appointments or tests. No surprise here...they didn't. One being Sam who promised to call me and personally check on me...never did Called today to Dr Shalabys office and spoke to Lisa (THIRD RECEPTIONIST) who said she would cancel them for me. I need them cancelled to keep from being billed as a no show)5. Website refers you to check your Portal for results. The portal has never worked!Dr. Shalaby I had called initially to have you return my call. I was told by Sam (your receptionist) that I needed to give her all of the the message and she would relay it to you. I never heard back from ANYONE. I don't make it a practice to leave messages for Drs to call me but a ten minute office visit can warrant a two minute call back.
I really like Dr. Shalaby but his front office leaves a lot to be desired. Two or three things have happened over time and I know that the pandemic has caused a shortage of Personel but today something happened that was extremely rude and uncalled for but funny in a way. I had an appointment yesterday and the doctor gave me a new prescription for an irregular heartbeat, fast heart rate and high blood pressure. I made sure they had the correct pharmacy number, etc. The lady indicated it would be called in immediately. I waited until 10 am this morning to give them time to call it in and went to the pharmacy but it had not been called in. I decided to call the doctor’s office and check on it. I was in no way rude when I called. I told the person who answered the phone that I was at the pharmacy and I was wondering if my prescription had been called in. I considered the fact that it could be the pharmacy’s fault. The receptionist thought she put me on hold but she hadn’t. She was mimicking everything I had said to another person in the office. She was acting like I had been rude which absolutely was not true. I let her finish her rant and then I said I had heard every word she had said. There was dead silence on the other end of the phone and then she acted as if nothing had happened.I felt this was very immature and uncalled for. I really am considering going to another doctor. I owned a business for 25 years and I am well aware that the front office can make or break a business.
He was wonderful and listened to our concerns and answered all our questions he has a great bed side manner he is very concerned about my husband’s condition and wants to help him get well
professional 💗💗

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
