Went to this doctor to get a new prescription for my eyeglasses. She ran me through every test imaginable and never even bothered to fit me for a prescription. She never asked me why I was there, she just went ahead and through every single test that she could charge my insurance for. Then she told me she couldn’t check my eyes for a prescription because she had already dillated them This doctor was the most slipshod, unresponsive doctor I have ever met. Rude receptionist who skulls and yells at the customers. She actually had the nerve to tell me “that’s not my job “when I asked her to call another doctors office for information. THIS PLACE IS BAD NEWS!! STAY AWAY!!!

Dr. Choi has been amazing. After seeing my husband and his strange eye issues, she immediately ordered blood tests and an MRI to find the problem. Due to Covid, patients are not allowed to bring anyone to the appt. My husband did not think to tell her of his quick onset of other ailments or that a different doctor ordered an MRI of different body areas. (He did not think there would be a connection.) I called Dr. Choi’s office to leave a msg with her tech that there was medical info my husband may have left out so she may not be seeing the big picture. Dr. Choi returned my call herself to hear the details. She listened and asked questions. He has a follow up to get MRI and other lab results. She has been extremely thorough and explained everything thus far. I’ll definitely see her for my own issues if any arise.

Dr. Choi is an amazing and talented doctor. She took time to discuss my case and took care to ensure I got the best care. I have been a patient with Coastal Eye Associates for the past 20 years and a patient with Dr. Choi for the past 10 years or more. I recommend her without any hesitation to all my friends and family.

As subjective as this may sound, she is a horrible Ophthalmologist. I would not recommend her for anything; in fact, her entire staff were lazy, disrespectful, and rude, which I would've overlooked, if the doctor was competent, but she wasn't. In the end, I had to go to another ophthalmologist to have my issues corrected. A complete waste of time with her...

Dr. Choi did my cataract surgery on both eyes and I was very pleased with her. I was very confident with her. She answered all my questions and is a great surgeon. Thank you Dr. Choi for helping me to see so much better.

I would NOT recommend this doctor to even see my dog... does not explain... acts like the patient is stupid.. does not listen to chief complaint and will write patient off when the doctor does not agree with them.
