Last week I had to take my 92 year old father in because he needed his catheter tube replaced. His insurance had dropped the home health provider that had been coming in once a month to change it for him, and he was overdue in getting it changed. I made a mistake and took him in a week earlier than our appointment was scheduled, but when I explained that he was overdue for his catheter change, they found a way to fit him in that day. Dr. Geisler and the front office staff have always been professional and especially patient in helping my father understand what they are doing. We are very thankful for their extraordinary care!
My initial contact with Dr. Giesler was a phone call. I inquired about my qualifications for HIFU, a treatment for prostate cancer. He advised me to get a procedure to reduce the size of my prostate and then, 3 months after the procedure, come to see him to determine if it worked and if my cancer could be treated with HIFU. I scheduled the appointment, as advised, and drove 1.5 hours to his office for the evaluation. Dr. Giesler did not show up. His PA came to see me. I inquired about checking the size of my prostate and was told the machine was broken. This was the entire purpose of the appointment, but, NO Giesler, NO ultrasound. The PA said to come back in 6 months. I have cancer, and want it treated before it reaches the point where some treatments are no longer feasible. I drove 1.5 hours home, having learned nothing. Dr. Giesler's office seemed to be completely ignorant of the purpose of my appointment. They could have rescheduled if the machine was down.
Dr. Giesler is the best doctor and surgeon I have been to! Throughout my battle with cancer, Dr. Giesler has remained encouraging, warm, and enthusiastic about my recovery. Thank you Dr. Giesler for the incredible impact you have on patients such as myself.
Dr Geisler is extremely professional and passionate about his work. In addition, he is highly technically talented and committed to advancing novel therapies to better urological health.
I have no clue how this place is not a one-star clinic by now. While at one time they may have earned a 4.8 rating, let me tell you that is no longer the case. From taking 5 different phone calls to send one message, to running me back and forth for imaging, to confusing the hell out of me about my surgery options, this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had at a medical facility. After dealing with these people, there is no way I would let them operate on me. Save yourself the trouble and go to another urologist.
I have been struggling with bladder issues for months and have seen 2 other urologists to try to figure out whats going on. I saw Dr. Denson yesterday and WOW she was like a breath of fresh air. She spent ample amount of time with me and listened thoroughly to all my concerns. I even cried because I'm so desperate to figure out whats going on. She was such a comfort and assured me we were going to figure this out. I was given lots of options on how I would like to proceed. She is the sweetest doctor I have ever encountered and its clear she cares about her patients. Also, the front desk staff was so sweet which is important at any doctors office and trust me i've had my fair share of rude staff. If you are looking for a new urologist book with Dr. Denson now!
Sorry to say they were no help in getting my rx filled after moving to a new town. It was a refillable rx and was filled locally by mistake. Pharmacy could not transfer and Urology Austin would not send rx to my new Pharmacy. Therefore I am out of rx for a month or longer until I can get established with a new urologist in my new town 5 hours away. Completely ridiculous and very frustrating.
Poorly administrated and confused office. Often long waits in a small room and switching of Doctors. Appointment staff doesn’t seem to know the Doctors schedules or televisit policies. Multiple calls go unreturned. I would not recommend them.
I'm seeing Gordon for my follow ups since bladder surgery in 2018. He is great. Always reassuring, knows what questions to ask, and has a good sense about where you are physically and emotionally. Yes, men there is an emotional side to this. Dr. Geisler did my surgery and he was great. Had seen another urologist and switched to Dr. Geisler after one meeting with him. He and Gordon know how to put you at ease but let you know the importance of your decision. They are a great team! So glad I switched to Dr. Geisler for surgery-great surgical hands and a warm heart that listens to patients. Gordon's follow-up work could not be better. He even helped me remove a very aggressive unfeeling female prep person (Ki) prior to my scope up the private area which was a great relief to me. It difficult enough to work in that area, and then to have an inappropriate unfeeling prepper about to clamp the big boy way too roughly. Ki, don't let her in your room if she is still there. No Way. The Guys are the Best, Surgeons, and Scoping and Follow-up (Dr Eric Geisler and Gordon Lang!!). They care deeply about your health and your recovery, guaranteed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
