Excelente doctor.

Doctor RICHARD A. BOIARDO is a perfect surgeon doctor. I had a serious fracture but I recovered very well after his sergury. I am glad I can meet him and we become friends since then.

I was referred to Dr Boiardo by a good friend of mine. I had surgery on both knees and completely satisfied with the outcomes. Dr Boiardo is a highly experienced surgeon, professional, personable. Glad I found him !

My 79 year old grandmother was referred to Cross County Orthopedics because she was in SEVERE pain with her hip, after her very first consultation/appointment with Dr. Richard Boiardo she KNEW immediately without hesitation that Dr. Boiardo was her NEW doctor, his encouraging words, his bedside manners, she KNEW instantly that he cared MORE so about her well being then anything else.... my grandmother had hip surgery 12/27/22 and is NOW pain FREE and is NO LONGER walking with a cane... Thank YOU DR. B (your the BEST)

Dr. Richard Boiardo to me is a Genius in his field of medicine, Orthopedics I do not say this statement lightly. I have known Dr. Boiardo for well over thirty years and he has treated me for various afflictions. He has also treated many of my family and friends, and has always done so with the greatest ability..over the years I have had some very major medical issues that have required many surgeries and rehabs . When my left shoulder began to cause me problems I immediately called Dr. Boiardo, I would trust no one but the best to take care of me, after an MRI it was determined that the shoulder was completely destroyed , but Dr. said with your history we need to be very cautious and see how Physical Therapy would go, He was right the therapy was causing some relief and mobility. On Easter I got up from the table and my wife and I heard a pop in my right arm. It was very painful and movement was limited. An MRI showed a ruptured bicep just as Dr.B. had predicted. Now surgery on the right shoulder became imperative, but we would proceed with caution.. On a visit to the office I was introduced to a gentleman who told me I would be sent for a special Cat- Scan called the Zimmer, Dr. B and the gentleman explained that when the pictures were done the bones would be measured and the new shoulder would be made from these measurements. Surgery was scheduled for the end of August. We all made it that morning through the hurricane. A little late but we were all ready. As I laid in the operating room and they prepared me I saw all the pictures displayed on the wall. Dr. B. Assured me my pain would be minimal. When I woke he was right, I had pain but not horrific pain That I was told to expect from others. It was more discomfort. I stayed in the hospital a few days for precaution due to pre existing problems. Now I am four weeks out and the stitches are out , and I have started Physical Therapy with no pain now for weeks already. When I require surgery I make sure I use the best, drs. With experience. For this kind of surgery I would trust no one but Dr. Boiardo and once again he proved himself to be the genius I truly believe him to be. Again I do not make this statement lightly.

Thanking Dr. Boiardo for successful surgery on foot which consisted of 2 bone fractures, a dislocated toe and also ruptured ligament. I am very grateful that I was fortunate enough, to have an experienced doctor to carry the surgery and procedures to have walking again. Also the staff at Cross County for being very helpful and all of helpful nurses Hoboken University Hospital who took great care of my well being Thank You all!!!

I can't thank Dr. Richard Boiardo enough for the amazing hip replacement surgery he performed on me November 10, 2021. I am 6 years post heart transplant and two other doctors shied away from this procedure. Dr. Boiardo nurtured me along first with physical therapy, then an injection but finally after my arthritis escalated, we talked surgery. There was no pressure, the decision was mine and it had to be done.His anterior approach to the hip replacement was phenomenal. I was discharged from the hospital within 23 hours and started in-home physical therapy the next day. My recovery has been strong and rapid.My wife of Greek nationality summed it up best when she said to Dr. Boiardo, "Yas Ta Herias", (God bless the hands that did this), for Dr. Boiardo has those blessed hands.

He is an excellent Dr he operated on my mom who is 88 years old. She had a fractured hip and we were concerned with her age but she is doing real well thanks to the surgery and the continued treatment and guidance from Dr Boiardo

I have had 3 shoulder operations in 30 years of HS & Collegiate wrestling. My shoulder actually ended two seasons for me. Both years I was having above Average seasons.I graduated college and became a teacher and a coach. I have seen many doctors over the past 20 years. They all tell me the same thing. You can’t coach you can’t work out, and you need to strengthen your core.My core is strong already. I went to see Dr. B within 5 minutes he had me diagnosed and told me I needed a shoulder replacement. I put it off for a few months, until my quality of life was unbearable, DR. B does the replacement. After3 week of the replacement I’m actually sleeping and have no pain. I haven’t had this in 30 years. The only negative thing I could say is were was DrB 30 years ago. I feel like he has performed a miracle on me. That’s how bad it was. Dr.B is the goat of shoulder surgeons🙏🙏Ty you for everything. I would give 6 stars but there are only 5!!!!!!!
