Dr. Jagathi Challagalla's Online Review Report Card

I have been under Dr. Challagalla’s care since June of 2011. During that time she has treated me for GIST, Lymphoma, and on going Stage 4 Lung cancer. I am sure that without her being involved and managing my cancer treatment of me I would not be alive today. She is very personable and knows her patients. Her clinical skills and knowledge base are amazing. She is and had been my life line for over a decade. Thanks!!

Dr. Challa (Challagalla) is amazing & takes great care of pts. Sometimes she goes fast but when I ask her to slow down she does, and she explains things very well.

I imagine it is time to give credit where it is truly due. I have mentioned my Oncologist several times on my Facebook page. Her name is Jagathi Challagalla. I love her last name, Challagalla! It kinds of rolls off the tongue. A joyful name, and she reflects it completely in her personality. She is tiny, tiny, tiny, but a powerful healer. In four months, she worked her magic, and I have been in remission for three months. I hear people say I am strong and am fighting my Cancer very hard. I thank you for your encouragement and thoughtfulness. In truth, I am taking two pills a day, going to appointments, and having an infusion once a month. Living my life one bit at a time. Following through with what is suggested to me. That is all I am doing in this process. I embrace all of your prayers. Each and every one. I feel your hearts wrapped around mine. Your prayers for my family are priceless as well. Please send your energies her way. She has impacted not only my life, but also the lives of countless others. I met with Dr. Challagalla twice in person and once on video phone. She is very through in reviewing all possibilities, causes and the best options. She is very clear and explains everything to help a patient make a decision. I have the upmost confidence in her. Her staff follows her leadership. They do not want a patient to spend time waiting to be seen. All of the tests are conducted in a very professional yet caring manner. Basically you are treated as if you were a loved family member. I am thankful that my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Challagalla and I would recommend her and Texas Oncology to anyone without hesitation.
