Dr Shaw is the only doctor that I have been to in this town that seems genuinely concerned about my health and listens to what I’m trying to tell her. I have a back problem she is trying very hard to help me find the right doctor that can help me. My heart doctor ran the catheter through my groan because I thought it was plaque in my arteries it was not it’s coming the pain is coming from my back he said it seems to be neuropathy the pain is so great but I’m afraid of the surgery with the doctors here in this town some of the reviews from some of them are so scary but Dr. Shaw sincerely is trying to help me find a doctor that can help me I love her to death . She listens and then she takes action and doesn’t pretend she didn’t hear you. I could go on and on all of it good even when we disagree it’s because I’m not a doctor and probably don’t know as much as she does. She has a charismatic personality and is intriguing but all that aside she is a conscientious doctor. My name isTerry just one of her many patients I have to update this review because there is a new lady running the office so bad at her job I stopped going to this Dr completely I don’t think I will be going back there for any reason period. Dr. SHAW -FONTENOT is very thorough and mindful to what a patient needs. She checks all aspects of a patient including what is going on that might include influence on a patients health. I have been with her since her arrival in Wichita Falls. I highly recommend her.

She is a tough doctor... very blunt. No coddling from her, which is why some don't like her. I love her! She is exactly what is needed; a no-nonsense doctor who goes out of her way to help her patients.

Sweet sweet sweet. She noticed enlarged liver right away and I thought I was just fat. She’s the only one whose ever checked my liver enzymes etc. This Dr pays attention! I had to stop using her because I have dyspnea, weak, use a walker. The doors slam on me ( the owners of the business will NOT put in automatic handicap doors, not the Drs fault)and to me it’s a 100 miles ( seems like) to get to her office. Sweet sweet sweet. Dr. Shaw Fontenot is one of the best docs I’ve ever had. She has taken wonderful care of me through some tough times. She has true compassion for her patients while providing excellent care. She is also a straight shooter with her patients. I recommend her most highly!

I ALWAYS LIKED DR FONTENTO. I WAITED AN HOUR,FOR FIRST APPT. SAW DR. FOR 5 MINUTES. SHE CHANGED SOME OF MY MEDS! NO EXPLANATION ABOUT THAT! WHEN I SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HAVING MORE MEDS PRESCRIBED AND THE BAD SIDE EFFECTS OF THEM, AND OTHER MEDS I WAS ALREADY ON, I WAS DROPPED AS A PATIENT. INSTEAD OF DR. CALLING ME AND TALKING TO ME ABOUT THIS, SHE HAD HER NURSE SEND ME A LETTER OF "TERMINATION OF SERVICES"! NO EXPLANATION AT ALL!! SO, I GUESS IM NO LONGER HER PATIENT!!!! I'M SORRY, BUT THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I've been going to Dr. Shaw-Fontenot since about 1997. She's the best doctor I've ever been to and I'm 53 years old. I've sent my parents, kids, spouse, etc. to her and everyone likes her like I do. I don't refer anyone to anything or anyone lightly. As long as she's in practice she'll be my doctor. Also, Carla, her office manager is awesome to deal with. They make an outstanding team.
