I’m truly disappointed in a dr I loved and my kids have loved for 11 years. He was there even before he became a physician over-seeing the care of my son when he was in Nicu in 2010. Unfortunately he allows his staff to treat his patients and family with no regard. My daughter and I were lied to about him being in the office, we were told he was out of town and wouldn’t be back till the following week. We wound up at his clinic anyway with the nurse practitioner. My daughter had a low grade fever and was constantly coughing. She was tested for strep and uti, according to the np it was negative. We continue to try and figure out what is wrong with her, she’s 9, and so I asked for a Covid test and flu test. My 9 y.o. Becomes upset and cry’s over the procedure of the Covid test and the np then proceeds to say she will not give her one because my daughter doesn’t want it! (Ummmm who’s the adult?) My daughter asked for dr vuelvas who has been her dr for 10 years mind you, but the np stat

Dr. Vuelas is very compassionate and knowledgeable and understanding. I’ve been taking my grandson to him since he was a about 10-11. I would recommend him to any parent or grandparents.

Excellent care for both my children! He has a personal understanding for children of all ages. My son absolutely trust him and considers him as "My Friend". (with children its pretty hard to earn their trust) My daughter is going on 18 and soon will not be considered pediatric however she also trust Dr. Vuelvas as I do. I recommend Dr. Vuelvas to anyone looking for a hardworking, trustworthy, caring professional as well as getting down to the root of any cause physician as well as a Human Being. Thank you Dr. Vuelvas and Staff for making our experience humble and trustworthy.

He is so friendly and knowledgable. We are comfortable asking him any questions we have about our baby's health and he always makes sure that we understand his answers to our questions. He is thorough with his examination of our baby and willing to explain everything he is doing so that we understand how he is caring for our baby.
