worst medical experience. this doctor has been prescribing me birth control pills for almost two years and forgets to prescribe them- ok whatever i call the office three times and it's still not filled. i go in person at 1:45pm and there's no receptionist or sign that it's lunch. he's on a loud phone call talking about other patients with a woman on speaker phone. he is complaining about an 89 year old man that ruined his morning by being "persistent about getting help". i know i'm not supposed to hear whatever he's saying so i call someone and start talking on the phone so my presence is noticed. he comes out and asks what i want. i say i need the pills ASAP or i'll break out or have to go on a period. he doesn't remember who i am and says "I told you last time i'm not a gynecologist and don't do pelvic exams so you need to find one of those for birth control" what?? i haven't seen him since 2021 and he never said that. also a pelvic exam for birth control? a specialist? i've had primary care doctors before him who would never make me jump through hoops for something so basic. now i'm going to cvs so a pharmacist can write me a prescription.
Dr. Andrew is outstanding. He takes the time to give you personal attention and follows up with results. He has incredible experience and a boutique practice in Greenbrae, which is a combination difficult to find. I can't say enough great things about the man.
Good doctor; poor support staff of late.
My mom had a visit in September 2021. While the visit was OK - we only now received the bill from the office which was submitted 3.5 months later; at which point her insurance has changed. Now on phone and sending emails between insurance companies, unable to get a hold of drs office for help, trying to sort through issue. Very bad service from Dr Andrew's office.UPDATE: was finally able to get in contact with Gail at the office. She was unapologetic and acted as if their office submitting a claim 3+ months after an appointment was totally normal. No empathy, no solutions offered. Also said very unlikely either insurance will cover given appointment was back in September and as of new year she has new coverage (within network). Laughable how horrible this dr's office staff service is. Will not be visiting this doctor again.
Dr. Andrew is a wonderful person and a caring doctor. Dr. Andrew takes his time with each of his patients which means you might have to wait a bit in the waiting room for your appointment. It is well worth the wait. He is kind and thorough. I can't say enough kind words about Dr. Andrew.Thank you Dr. Andrew, Gail Mielke
Dr. Andrew is an excellent physician with a relaxed and professional manner. He takes time with his patients without rushing. He answers your questions completely, is lighthearted as well as warm and personal.I have been with Dr. Andrew for many years. He is also the primary Doctor for my two adult sons. I have never regretted my choice in making Dr. Andrew my primary physician.B. Auger
I had a stroke last month and needed a primary care physician to do the follow up care and communicate my neurologist. I didn't have a primary care physician because of disappointment with standard of care doctors always being rushed, uncaring and only wanting to push pills with pages of side effects. My insurance company has a nurse that does the follow up management so that I don't end up back in the hospital costing them big money. This nurse recommended three primary care doctors. Dr Andrew was one of the recommended doctors. His one yelp review pushed me towards him. What a good decision. His nurse Teresa is so nice, smart, helpful, and such a pretty face it is hard to look away from her! To my surprise and absolute happiness Dr Andrew didn't have one foot out the door like all other standard of care physicians. Wow. I'm still in a state of shock. He sits with me and we discuss everything. No rushing. I've been going to doctors for a very long time, and he is the first that made me feel like he actually cares about me and my health. I was hesitant to take a medication my neurologist prescribed to me. Dr Andrew discussed that it has very minimal side effects and that if I do get one, I can stop taking it. He also said that I can start by cutting it in half. He took the time to help me understand what my options are. So grateful to him being a caring human being and physician!
This man is the one who first discovered that I had leukemia last July, after an urgent care clinic had turned me away for "the flu." I can't say much more other than that I believe this man saved my life. So, he gets all stars!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
