I am so thankful for Dr. Peterson and his staff! I have a family history of Melanoma. I had another dermatologist check a specific mole in November who said it was fine. Fortunately Dr. Peterson biopsied the mole. He did wide excision surgery yesterday. I am so grateful he caught it early. He and his staff were so kind to me and put my mind at ease. Doctor spent about two minutes with my son, put Beetle juice on his hand wart, then left the room. Charged $205 to spend 2 minutes in the room. This office just charges way too much for simple stuff. Didn’t even get rid of the wart, so he had us come back in, I thought it would be a follow up from the first visit, so no charge, But nope, charged us again and again. Total of $800 for a simple wart removal. Didn’t even spend 5 minutes total with us. I should have just gone to a pediatrician who would have done the same thing, but not charged an arm and a leg for something so simple. I brought another son in for face warts, so this doctor says they are, he wouldn’t treat them or do a biopsy, but still charged me $205 dollars. Told me to treat them at home, with an over the counter treatment that specifically says to not use on the face. I thought a dermatologist would help him, but he wouldn’t even try. So disappointing. Do not go here if your insurance doesn’t cover much because they will nickel and dime you for everything. Update** my son I took to doctor Peterson for his for his “face warts” as this doctor called them, were not actually face warts, but tumors, a condition indicative of a more serious condition. This doctor has no clue and didn’t know about it. I spent a year coming to him and he never diagnosed it correctly. As soon as I took Him to a pediatric derm she knew what it was with in seconds and even performed a biopsy to be sure. This doctor didn’t have a clue and put my son at risk of going undiagnosed. Dr Peterson and his staff are awesome! He is super nice and gets to the root of the problem(s) quickly. I think the issue with the people who gave him a negative review is that he isn’t a chatter. He takes your health seriously and wants to get to the problem you’re dealing with. I was in and out of his office in 15 minutes because he doesn’t waste anyone’s time. This more shows how efficient and smart he is. I trust him 100% and would refer anyone who asks to him. Dr Peterson and his staff are awesome! I will never go back. I ended up with a massive scar when there should have been none if done correctly. Avoid.

This guy does not mess around! I went in to get some lipomas removed that have been bothering me. I thought I'd see the doctor, he'd look at them and schedule me a couple weeks later to have them removed. He came in the exam room, looked, and said he'd remove them right away, moved me to the procedure room and took them out. Dr. Peterson is the man, I was in and out in 35 minutes, never expecting I'd have anything removed, especially so fast! He's a very nice, personable guy, was humorous and professional, and he has great office staff too. Seriously made it as smooth as possible for me who doesn't handle medical visits very well. I've have been nervous for a few years about some moles and dry patches.. he was so patient and easy to work with. Quick and understanding. Very to the point and thorough. Great job....

My family has had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Peterson over the last few years. I found him to be very professional but also very personable which put me at ease. He is very skilled and knowledgeable and resolved my family's issues where other dermatologists have failed. His staff seems to be capable and the attending nurse during my procedure was excellent.
