David K. Hafen's Online Review Report Card

We have been patients in Dr. Hafen's practice for more than a decade. In recent years, we can expect to sit in the waiting room for well over an hour before each visit, and then another 20-30 minutes once we are in a room. The receptionists say he is also the urgent care doctor and so we can expect long waits while he prioritizes walk-in patients ahead of scheduled patients. This is unacceptable. He is a good doctor with whom we have always had a good relationship. But 1 - 2 hours sitting and waiting for him to work us into our scheduled appointment shows a lack of caring and respect that is unacceptable.

I've been Dr. David Hafen's patient for 22 years. He is thorough and asks all the right questions to get to the bottom of my health care needs.

Dr. Hafen and his staff have been taking care of my medical needs for at least a decade now, and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Hafen had been my family’s doctor for many years, and he has done an excellent job taking care of us.

Dr. David Hafen is great. He is always very kind and is very knowledgeable. He makes me feel like what I have come to see him for is the most important thing in the world and take a genuine interest in seeing that it is properly dealt with. I would recommend him to anyone.

The staff is horribly rude. I called in regarding Dr. Hafen's nurse, waited 20 minutes on hold. When I finally spoke with someone the individual was rude and short with me.. Not coming here again.

I love Dr David Hafen however every single time we visit this office the front desk staff are so rude and short. Same if we call in for a question or to book a visit. I called in to pay our statement and the billing department is always equally as rude and extremely short. We will no longer visit here after our experience today. Something as simple as calling in to pay off a small balance or any should not be so miserable. I addressed it with the lady I spoke with and her response was “excuse me, I’m feeling under the weather”. He listened well and validated my concerns, and was very open about treatment options and benefits; it felt very much like we were working together to choose which direction was best for me. Very easy to get an appointment, and very knowledgable about everything, even mental health. I actually had better results with him than when working with a specialized psychiatrist.
