I have been a patient since 1997. All my kids were delivered by Dr. Mower starting in 1997. My kids all think of him as their Dr. "grandpa" and ask if they can go to him when they are sick because he makes it better. I will forever be grateful for the care by Dr. Mower and his incredible staff has given to me and my family.

Other than the fact that, just like most doctors, he doesn't do anything to make invasive procedures comfortable (just balance yourself on this table--no holding onto anything, while I start scraping out your ear), or gives you a lot of options to pursue making things better...he never talked down to me. He's always been polite. My decisions are respected and he doesn't push exams or give me scary lectures or worst-case-scenario diagnoses. I have bad luck getting mean doctors so he's a relief

He is a very smart man but he never took the time to listen. He wanted to get in and out and didn't care to help me fix any of my problems, he just wanted to mask it with more medicine. My last appointment with him he basically told me I was overreacting and nothing was actually sick.

In 2008 when my son was born, I got really sick afterwords and Dr. Mower came to the hospital to check on, not only me but also my son. He is the most caring and thoughtful doctors. I only wish that we lived closer to still be able to continue with his wonderful care.

I have gone to Dr. Mower for nearly 10 years. During that time he has caught two illnesses that "specialists" misdiagnosed. He listens and takes time to meet with me. As my kids leave the pediatric care they will for sure see Dr. Mower. I highly recommend him!
