Evan B. Jones's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Jones is a part of the valley OB team that I saw while pregnant and he happened to be the doctor on call when I went into labor. Once in the hospital he came by to check on me and my progression and I explained I deliver quickly. I also deliver with no medication so I generally don't need MD help until it's time to push. Well it was time to push and the nurses went to get Dr. Jones and HE WASN'T THERE! He had left the facility to check on another patient without communicating to the staff. The nursing staff was wonderful and delivered the baby without any doctor present. It was ridiculous. I did tear a bit so another doctor from the group who lives close had to come in and stitch me up. Dr. Jones never came back and never checked on me after delivery or apologized in any way. Awful awful experience.

I have seen doctor jones 2 times in my pregnancy. I had a miscarriage last year which has made me very nervous and doubtful. He has always been happy and more than willing to answer my questions and concerns. He actually even sat down and listened! I’ve had a few scares with this pregnancy and he has been very thorough and positive in his assessments of me and baby. I’ve had a great experience with him .

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Jones. He had the best bedside manner when I lost one of my twins, took as much time as needed to answer all of my questions. When delivering, my placenta was stuck, and he took legitimately 40 minutes to try and dig it out, all the while being very attentive to me and sensitive to making sure I was okay. He ended up keeping me from having to get a D&C, which I am so so grateful for.

Dr. Jones just delivered my 8 lb 3 oz baby just a few days ago. I went unmedicated of which he was very respectful. My labor progressed much more rapidly then expected. During pushing he allowed me to position myself as needed and was careful to let me push at my own pace. He was absolutely amazing when her head came and shoulders did not (shoulder dystocia). He worked quickly and carefully to get her out safely and stitched me up with so much care. After reading about SD I realize that was a really big deal and I'm just so happy he was able to take care of both me and my baby so well! We are so, so glad we were able to have the excellent care of Dr. Jones for this delivery!

Dr. Jones is a great doctor! He is very caring and took the time to answer all of my questions, and was never in a big hurry unlike some of the other doctor's. He has delivered 2 of my babies (one vaginal and the other a c-section) and he did a fantastic job. I underestimated Dr. Jones at first because he was so young, but he was able to prove to me what a great Doctor he is.

He delivered my second baby OK. However, when I came to him a year later about vaginal discomfort thinking it was my IUD out of place things seemed a little dishonest. He took an ultrasound and confirmed the IUD was fine but said something looked a little "wonky" so he proceeded with a more invasive procedure. What was wonky? Did you just need more money? Also he guessed at my problem and said come back later if problem persists so we can take more tests. Why not test now and save the guesswork?

Dr. Jones and his expertise saved my life. Because of him, my children still have their mother. I needed emergency surgery and because of his skill and knowledge I am alive today. Thank you Dr. Jones. Thank you.

Dr. Jones is respectful, direct, efficient, and kind. Even on a busy office day (which in Utah county is probably always) he was very thorough and addressed my concerns and more. Different options for treatment were presented to me, as well as the typical pros and cons for all options. He made me feel at ease which I consider tricky in such a vulnerable situation. Great job Dr. Jones! Thank you!!!

Dr. Jones is awesome. I had lots of questions and concerns during my pregnancy. I mean... I was electrocuted by a freaking horse fence in my first trimester! He was happy to immediately see me and scan me to calm my nerves. I also had low fluid towards the end of my pregnancy. It wasn't low enough to be overly concerning to him, but it was to me. He cued in on that and scheduled me for nst's every couple days till I delivered. His care was exceptional! Totally recommend him.

I also had a complication with a pregnancy and had many questions about why things went wrong. Dr Jones took the time to patiently and compassionately answer all of my questions. He was both understanding and thorough and really helped put my mind at ease. I would recommend Dr Jones to anyone.
