Jeff Nance's Online Review Report Card

I tried to schedule an appointment for a pregnancy. I have severe issues early in pregnancy. I told them that and that it was important to be seen earlier than the appointment that was offered (about a month away). I had reason to believe (ahem periods) that I was further along. However the front desk person was cold and decided that she can play with your health and decided that there is nothing she can do for a month. I have never had a front desk person decide she was qualified to make health care decisions. She heard that I had just tested and decided I must only be a month along. ANY OBGYN that cannot see you for a month for extenuating circumstances is not a safe OBGYN to go to - for you or your baby.

I met with this office in 2020, so granted it was a rough year for everyone. Jeff is great, but I had a really hard time getting Steven to listen to me and somehow I ended up meeting more with him than Jeff, and Steven ended up delivering. He was really short with me when I was in labor, which honestly should have been the other way around. He didn't tell me that he was doing an episiotomy, and I think he just wants to do deliveries his way and is tired of his patients asking for something different. I never felt comfortable asking too many questions, and the one time I called because I was worried about some symptoms I was having, he was very angry with me. Just didn't feel listened to or cared for very much unfortunately.

Wonderful doctors to work with and staff. The office ladies and nurses are very sweet and friendly. I have gone to the Nances for all my children and really like each of them. They are both really kind, knowledgeable and trusting. When delivering in the hospital, the nurses there always say how much they love working with both Steven and Jeff. Highly recommend them.

Dr. Jeff and Dr. Steven they are amazing I had 3 babies they delivered 2 C-Section and 1 natural birth. All 3 pregnancy they did great. They answered my question walked me thru the 2 C-Section. When it was time everything went well made sure me and my husband where comfortable in the delivery room. When I was recovering Dr. Jeff would call the room to make sure I was doing okay and ask about my pain level. They both did amazing job.

They were fantastic to work with. I had complications during delivery and they were so great at helping me feel better. I had many friends recommend them to me and I am so glad they did.

Dr. Steve Nance is so warm, calming and caring. Dr. Jeff is kind, energetic, and comforting. They are the perfect balance. Dr. Steve Nance’s experience along with Dr. Jeff’s new technology and perspective makes them truly the best! I had the worst experience with an OBGYN delivering my first baby, but I came to Steve and Jeff for my second and third babies and it was such an incredible experience! I wouldn’t trust my babies with anyone else!

I loved my experience with both Doctors! Jeff Nance delivered my first baby and was awesome! He always listened and addressed my concerns. I never had a question go unanswered. Will definitely go back for baby #2!

They lack Customer service I called to been see and they didn't give me an answer just hung up on me, I did even get the chance to been seen will not recommend anyone here.

I am posting this on my husbands phone and I can't figure out how to switch it to my name. So here it goes, I didn't have a great experience with the Nances. Dr. Jeff Nance was always such a pleasure to see, but I didn't have that experience with Dr. Steven Nance. He always came across as cold. When i was in labor in the hospital, Dr. Steven Nance was on call and he was called over 2 hours before I had my son, but he still missed the birth. He then strolled into the room without making any eye contact, sewed me up, then walked out saying "congratulations" without looking back. Then when it came time to be discharged, the nurses told me he was supposed to come check on me but he never did. With my next pregnancy, I only saw them for one appointment then switched to a midwife for a better experience and the staff left me a voicemail saying because I transferred out of care, they wouldn't see me back for any future pregnancies. People transfer care for a multitude of reasons and they shouldn't be made to feel like they did something wrong. Even if I could see them again, I wouldn't.

I really had a great experience with these doctors, but I switched to midwives during a pregnancy because I wanted to give birth in their birthing center, and when I recently (postpartum) tried to schedule a checkup and a women's well check, they told me that they wouldn't see me again because I had switched, because they liked "loyalty". They didn't tell me this would be the case beforehand. I'm really disappointed, because I was going to use them for my regular gynecologists and I had had a great experience with them previously.
