Dr. Jones is amazing and really cares. My entire life I have been dealing with GI issues and he was the first one to take me seriously, explain everything to me, and get me scheduled for surgery. He was professional, empathetic, and thoughtful and I almost cried multiple times during my consultation because I felt so seen and relieved that I didn't have to fight to be heard. He thought critically about my issues and brought in the bigger picture to educate me on connections I hadn't made yet. I'm so grateful to have met him and can't wait to get the surgery to feel better for the first time in my life. His team is amazing too, especially Sydney. She walked me through everything about the surgery process, answered all my questions patiently, and made accommodations. You can tell she cares and is willing to help as much as possible.
Really listens and really cares. Very kind and thorough- breath of fresh air the way medicine has become post Covid. Excellent doctor & a good man!
I had a surgery scheduled for three weeks in advance with Dr. Jones. I was called by his office the morning of the surgery and told the hospital messed up the scheduling and they had to cancel surgey. They explained that the doctor got a text from the hospital the day before which happened to be a Sunday. The hospital then called to give the check in instructions and was unaware my surgery was canceled. I was then informed that the hospital had nothing to do with scheduling his surgeries. When I called his office back and let them know what the hospital said, the story changed and I was informed that it was just in my best interest to reschedule my surgery. The person became rude when I told her it was not easy for my ride and I to both get work off and arrangements for our kids for the day. I was then told I could call back to reschedule later if I wanted to, but I would have to call on a Mon, Wed or Fri because there was not a nurse or other staff available to handle the scheduling.
Dr. Jones did my three Hernias through the Laparascopic procedure. I think he did a great job, first because I recuperated myself in less than 3 weeks with very little pains and discomfort. I recommend this surgeon to anybody for his caring attitude, his excellent team and office staff. When needed, I sent messages to him, and he will answer very quickly. All my gratitude to Dr. Jones and his team!
Dr. Jones and his team is the best I ever worked with. Extremely caring, explaining in detail what needs to be done with excellent surgery skills. He answers any question, and if you need anything, you can write on his message, and he will answer very quickly with the right answer. He did performed 3 hernias in one surgery. After the surgery, to my surprise, I did not need heavy anti pain medicine. I commend and recommend Dr. Jones, and his team, including members of his office to anybody in need of a surgery.
He charged my insurance $600 which I ended up paying $127 to wait 25 minutes in his office and then to be told in less than 5 minutes that he can not do the surgery and to go see a orthopedic surgeon. Ridicules!
I'm so impressed with Dr. Jones. He and his staff took excellent care of me. I always felt at ease, informed and am so grateful that during my visits before and after surgery, he took the time to explain things to me. I think he may have even gone over my time, because I asked A LOT of questions about my hernia's that needed repair. Thank you Dr. Jones and staff! I hope I don't ever need to come back to you, but if I do, your my surgeon and I'll recommend you to anyone I know who needs surgery!
Great surgeon along with a caring bedside manner he gets the job done. I've had intestinal obstruction surgery, colon surgery and the latest double hernias repaired. I feel much better and I'm getting around pretty good. The hospital he uses is clean and has a great staff along with his office staff. No complaints. Highly recommend.
I recently saw Dr. Jones because I was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. I can't say enough good things about him! He sat down with me and thoroughly explained my diagnosis, procedure, treatment and what to expect each step of the way. He even drew diagrams on the back of his notes so I could visualize the procedure better! While right now this feels like the worst thing that could possibly happen to me, I feel a sense of peace and security in knowing that I am in the capable hands of a surgeon who is excellent at what he does. Thank you.
I had a small cyst on the back of my head. What should have been a basic in and out procedure turned into full on surgery. He wanted to give me anesthesia for a procedure that only requires local anesthesia. I refused the anesthesia and opted for the local anesthesia, he wasn’t happy. He immediately Came back at me with an attitude. He ended up shaving a huge spot around the cyst. All the research that I’ve done doesn’t require this. None of the videos or articles that I read and watched about Pilar cyst removal involved shaving the head. I asked him why I had to have a basic procedure done at a surgery center, his response was, so I can pass the cost onto you, then he laughed at me. I’m pretty sure this guy is your basic con artist who over charges patients, and insurance companies. He came off as smug and arrogant! I would run from this guy. I’m going to be writing a letter to my insurance company.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
