Kristin Craig's Online Review Report Card

Honestly, I wish I could say good things but my experience wasn't good at all. I went about a year and a half ago and I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just a busy day. But I went in for a birth control consultation. I was young, I didn't know a lot about my body or my options and I just needed to sit down with an expert to know what my options were. I was brought back by a nurse who gave me a gown and told me to change. First of all, Dr. Craig didn't knock when she came and she walked in on me when I was in the middle of changing which felt very unprofessional. She didn't ask me about any of my concerns. She didn't even tell me about all my options. She told me there were two types of IUD and which one I should get. Then pulled out the box with the IUD in it and told me we should do it today. I was naive and didn't know any better so I agreed. I wasn't told what kind of symptoms I might have and I wasn't told what kind of pain it would cause. She struggled to get it in and it took more than a few tries. After she was done she told me I could change and that she'd have a nurse bring me in some Tylenol. She left and I began to clean myself up (due to bleeding) and as I was changing back into my clothes a nurse walked in on me with another patient. It was all very unprofessional and I never went back to Dr. Craig or that specific clinic.

Dr Craig is a very sweet lady with a great personality. Most women with uncomplicated pregnancies probably love her. Unfortunately mine was not without complications, and Dr Craig’s decisions to move forward outside of her scope of practice with overconfidence and lack of caution likely would have cost my baby boy his life. Having been diagnosed with a complete placenta previa, then a possible vasa previa, Dr Craig wanted to move forward with a vaginal delivery and offered no referral to a maternal fetal medicine specialist and stated “don’t worry, this is what you pay me for”. Luckily, maternal instincts kicked in after our visit, and I chose to advocate for myself and question her judgment. I requested a referral to maternal fetal medicine where it was found that my placenta previa had resolved, and there was no vasa previa. However, the specialist also confirmed my suspicions, which were that Dr Craig’s recommendations were completely wrong, and had I had the conditions mentioned I should have been in the hospital being constantly monitored and delivered via c-section at 35weeks. Needless to say, I switched OBs with only 5 weeks left in my pregnancy. Dr Craig’s decisions were careless and having stayed with her I would have questioned everything she did afterwards. For those with no complications, I can see why you’d love her, but unfortunately no one gets to choose what path their pregnancy takes. I would not want an OB who was willing to gamble with my baby’s life.

I can honestly say I've never met such an amazing woman and the best ob-gyn in Cache Valley. She's so caring and loves all her patients.

Highly recommend Dr. Kristin Craig. She always takes the time to talk to me and I feel comfortable going to the doctor for my physical with her.

The best OBGYN a woman could ask for

I have been seeing Dr Craig for 20 years. She has been with me through infertility, babies born, babies lost, surgeries and now the medical needs of the middle and old age. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate her and her skills. She is honest with me, but always kind. She has always treated me as a friend and I trust her to do what is best for me.

Patient, caring, understanding, experienced, knowledgeable. That pretty much says it all about Dr Craig.

Dr. Craig is not only a great doctor, but very personable. She takes time to listen and truly understands what I am going through. Her staff from nurses to receptionists are always very kind and make me feel welcome. Highly recommend!

She is amazing! I switched to her because I was having miscarriage symptoms and the nurse of the Dr I was seeing basically brushed me off. Craig got me in right away and was compassionate and straight forward which I very much appreciated. I later got pregnant again and she supported me in the beginning of that pregnancy and throughout. I would definitely recommend seeing her if you are looking for an excellent OBGYN!

I have really appreciate Dr. Craig's ability to be knowledgeable, friendly and personable about so many different concerns of mine. She makes me feel at ease and that I matter to her. I followed her from her previous office and will continue to go to her for the foreseeable future.
