List of Mark Hafen's Reviews
My experience with Dr. Hafens office has been miserable. A few months back I had to get an MRI done because they thought they found a mass on my kidney. I was told I’d get results later the same day since it was done in the morning. No, I got to wait a full week thinking I could have cancer because his staff didn’t do their job. I had to be the go between for them and the MRI office because no one was just calling and finding out what they needed. I even had to drive paperwork between offices, which is ridiculous when we have email and the internet, because none of his staff would. And currently I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks for him to call with results for something else, even with me calling multiple times asking for an update and being told I’d get a phone call the next day. They’ve never called me when they said they would, and as soon as I can get these dang results I’m switching doctors. My experience with Dr. Hafens office has been miserable. I had a sore on my nose that wouldn’t heal. Dr. Mark Hafen did a biopsy and the office called me and told me it came back fine and nothing to worry about. Two years later I went to another doctor and had it checked again. It came back as basal cell skin cancer! I got a copy of the original biopsy from Mark Hafen and the report said that only epidermis and no dermis was included in the sample so cancer could not be ruled out. So Dr. Hafen didn’t do the biopsy correctly and then ignored the lab warning and gave me a bad diagnosis. Cancer then continued to grow for 2 years! I then needed surgery to remove the cancer and plastic surgery to repair the damage. I wouldn’t trust or ever see Dr. Mark Hafen again. Ever.
Over my lifetime I’ve had to deal with hundreds of receptionists and front desk employees. I can honestly say Cassidy stands out ahead of the pack. When i was last in for a visit, and was sitting waiting to be called back, the office was extremely busy. A few of us sitting and watching could not help but notice the amazing way Cassidy handled all of the stress with a great attitude making everyone feel heard and welcome. Although Hafen's office is really busy and sometimes have multiple appointments booked at the same time as yours they're very flexible and will often offer telemed where possible which accomodates the double booking. Appointments are fast and to the point which I love but if you need a little more time due to your situation he won't rush it. I've been seeing him for almost 10 years and don't see that changing anytime soon. We were really disappointed with Dr Hafen. Our 18 month son fell off a slide and will not put any weight on his right leg. We tried to take him to his pediatrician, but there was not availability, so we took an appointment with Dr Hafen. Dr Hafen hardly palpated--he honestly touched our son's leg for less than 3 seconds. He had a single X-ray done, that came out unclear because he had my wife try to hold him down in the process (rather than strapping, or having a tech's help). Dr. Hafen said that he was probably fine, and just needed some rest and ibuprofen, but he would get back to us within two hours. When asked what dose, he did not know the answer, and eventually gave the answer in mg (rather than mL for toddlers). We called multiple times, and didn't hear back from him for 22 hours. We took our son to his pediatrician the next day, and our pediatrician confirmed that Dr Hafen should have taken more x-rays, should have strapped him down, should have known the pain-killer dosage, and should have given him a splint. Luckily, our pediatrician did all of that for us. We're pretty disappointed with Dr Hafen, and will not return. We were really disappointed with Dr Hafen. Dr Hafen is a wonderful doctor that listens and takes time to explain. Also his staff especially his receptionist is wonderful to work with
Dr. Hafen is the best. He knows what he's doing, and he's not judgmental to the queer community. He truly cares about everyone's health. Sadly, I've issues in the past with doctors about my lifestyle. Never had an issue with Dr. Hafen or his team.
Dr. Hafen has been my Doctor for many years now. He and his staff have always been great to work with from start to finish. A+
Dr. Mark Hafen has been taking care of my medical issues for many years now. Approaching 80, I can tell you he is expert at detecting and addressing the problems that arise as you get older. He is old enough to have good experience and clearly stays up to date on the latest research. Yet he is young enough that he is going to outlive me and I won't have to move to another doctor at an inconvenient time. Good bedside manner, and good follow through on any issues that arise. I highly recommend him and this practice, whatever your age. Dr. Mark Hafen has been taking care of my medical issues for many years now. Mark has been a great doctor for me thus far. I started seeing him about two months ago and I feel like he listened to my issues and found solutions for me. I would recommend him as a family practice doctor to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
