List of Scott S. Rees's Reviews
Dr. Rees delivered my first baby and he was so calm and caring. My delivery got a little scary and he kept his composure and confidence which we appreciate so much, looking back. He talked with my husband and me like we were his family, honestly felt like we had known him for years! He has such a nice and upbeat demeanor.
He is very personable and genuinely a caring person. I felt comfortable and at ease with him. He turned my breeched baby and helped me remain calm through the whole thing!
Has poor bedside manners. Not respectful of my wife's choice of pain management and our birth plan. Refused to communicate.
If I could give Dr. Rees zero stars, I would definitely do that! I try to be as positive as I can. But I cannot for the situation I experienced with him and his office staff. It has taken me several months to be able to write this review because of the trauma I experienced after undergoing a bladder sling repair surgery with Dr. Rees. I was assured that this was an easy, same-day surgery. However, what I experienced is a total nightmare and anything but routine and easy. When I woke up from surgery, my inner right hip tendon felt like it was on fire (I didn't know it was the hip abductor tendon at the time). The pain was excruciating! I was in so much pain, and I couldn't even sit up. I could only stay lying down. I had to be admitted to the hospital for two days. In this time, Dr. Rees only came to see me right after surgery and once in the hospital. He kept repeating that this never happens. He basically did nothing to help me, released me from the hospital, and never checked on me again. My best friend had to take care of me because I couldn't even sit to use the bathroom nor shower for two weeks. I had to go into the office to be seen to remove my catheter a week after surgery. I had to use a walker and was in a lot of pain. The office staff treated me like I was pariah and an embarrassment to their office. I saw an untrained medical assistant that could not answer any of my questions. I never saw a doctor. And the medical assistant asked my friend, who had to take me to the doctor because I couldn't drive myself) to open a saline bottle for her and help her with other stuff (she didn't even bother to check if my friend's hands were clean). There are too many unbelievable and unprofessional details to include. Even when I called the office in desperation to speak with Dr. Rees as my surgeon, the nurse refused to have him call me back. The whole situation is unreal. I still feel pain every time I walk, and it has been 8 months since my surgery. Dr. Rees acts like a concerned and caring doctor. But if there are any problems at all, he is nowhere to be found. I would avoid Dr. Rees and his staff and find another doctor and staff that can handle out of the norm situations. Because you can't guarantee that your surgery will be an easy, run of the mill one. Dr. Rees did nothing to help me once complications from surgery he performed on me arose. I do not want anyone else to experience what I had to endure with him and his staff.
This man is an Angel! He went beyond what he should have for me during my surgery. He took my personal concerns to heart and prolonged a 2.5 hour long surgery to 5 hours to make sure I not only had the outcome I desired but that I would recover quickly. I’ve never met a doctor with such empathy and concern for his patients. I had heard nothing but excellence surrounding him but it wasn’t until I had my own experience with him that I knew he had a patient for life. I had no patient relationship with him before needing his help, and only met twice before surgery with him but No other doctor would have done what he did for me and I am forever grateful. He takes the time and he actually cares about his patients. I can not say enough good about this man.
He is kindest dr, he delivered my son and I truly appreciate how much he cared his patient and make us feel cared. Again Thank you Dr Rees !

Dr. Rees delivered both of my babies and I couldn't have had a better doctor. He is very calm and knows exactly what to do and say. I love how chill he is and makes things very easygoing. You feel like he's your best friend! I feel so comfortable around him. I prayed he was the doctor working the day I went into labor and my prayers we answered. He also handled the situation very well and calmly when I hemorrhaged and was very quick to fix everything. I would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Rees was excellent with the delivery of my baby. He remained calm in what might otherwise have been a stressful situation--at least it was for me, but I felt better knowing that Dr. Rees was the one delivering my baby.
One of my twins was feet first and he did such an excellent job delivering them both vaginally. Amazing Doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
