We moved to town mid pregnancy and were referred to a different doctor who was horrible. He didn't let us ask questions, told me I was too fat, and never asked about my history. Every time I went in I left crying because he was so awful. He even refused to do an exam on me. So we switched to Tracy. She was my mom's OB and we were so lucky to have her. Our first time meeting she was patient and asked follow up questions when it came to my weight and found out that I had lost upwards to 15 pounds before I got pregnant due to illness and said that the weight gain was actually good. She listened to every concern, no matter how silly it may have sounded, and made sure we knew that she cared and gave us straight answers. When we went in for our next pregnancy she was sensitive and calm when she informed us that the baby had died. I can't imagine how the previous doctor would have handled it. Only wish that we could have her as our doctor for our current pregnancy because she is by far the best I have ever had. 100% recommend her to anyone who is in the St. George area. She is an Angel.

She delivered my son who was born 2 months early due to pre-eclampsia. So grateful she followed up with me while my Dr was out of the area. I really wanted to go to her initially but she wasn’t accepting new patients unless they were pregnant. I had infertility issues but somehow got pregnant. I am so glad she was able to deliver my son as well as Dr Alice Wong. We would not have our son if it wasn’t for them!

Dr Winward saw me through 5 high risk pregnancies. All of them had me on strict bed rest. The first one had me in the hospital for a month before my son was delivered a month early. All of my babies made it here safely due to her diligence. The staff is friendly and professional. I can not recommend her enough... she is great at what she does...

I absolutely LOVEEEEEEEE her! I don’t want to go to anyone else for my other babies! She made my whole pregnancy and labor so fun and smooth! If it was an option I’d give her 10 stars! She’s hands down the absolute best!!

I have been seeing Dr. Tracy Winward since 2016. She is simply AMAZING at what she does. Knowledgeable, skilled, professional and super KIND. She genuinely cares about her patients and it shows. She is always open and honest about everything that’s why I feel so comfortable with her all the time. Things I love the most about her are that she’s always so positive, upbeat, encouraging and so genuine. I feel so blessed to find her. She has been helping me a lot. I’m forever thankful for her care, her kindness is greatly appreciated. I love Dr. Winward, I always look forward to my visit with her. She is the BEST!!!

For years I have struggled with horrible pain during my menstrual cycle, not knowing it wasn’t normal. I would take 6 IBU just to move. I weigh 115 pounds and I’m 26 years old and I bleed through a tampon, and pad in less then 30 minutes for the first 3 days of my period. I feel constantly drained every day, just to get up and start the day, takes 2 hours. I have horrible stomach issues, and pee constantly...all of these symptoms I have told to Doctors over the years, and every time it was written off as just bad cramps, and recommended to be on a low dose of birth control. As my symptoms got worse, I decided to do my research and go to another state for another opinion. Hoping that I wasn’t just crazy and making it all up in my head at this point. I did my research and found Valley Women’s Health. I made an appointment with Dr. Brown, and started the process all over again. I told him all my symptoms, and he started with a pelvic exam, and saying everything felt normal, which is where every other doctor had stopped and said everything was fine, but he didn’t, he recommended a pelvic ultrasound, something no one has done, so a few minutes later, and he had the answer. I just stared crying, because I was happy to know I had an answer. My uterus had endometriosis, and my left ovary had an endometriosis cyst covering it. The staff was amazing, friendly, and comfortable, and by Dr. Brown just taking a few more minutes, and listening, he changed my life. I encourage everyone who reads this to listen to your body, and find a good OBGYN who does the same. I could have been treated for this for years. Dr. Brown, Valley Women’s Health, and staff are a good place to start. Because of them I will be able to treat my endometriosis and have a normal life again.

I'd like to take a moment to acknowledge Dr. Tracy Winward, MD at the Southern Utah Women's Health Center. Not only did she see me through the birth of my child, but she also helped me through a scary personal issue that resulted in an emergency surgery. She made a terrifying experience more bearable with her compassion, expertise, and attention to detail. She made me feel like her only patient through the entire ordeal, and I can't begin to explain how comforting it was knowing she was just a phone call away during my time of need. If you're searching for an excellent OBGYN, I couldn't recommend her more.
