Not good

Staff told me one thing and Dr. Rodgers blatantly lied and said the opposite. He's not trustworthy.

I’m so grateful for Dr Rogers. He’s been able to diagnose and treat health issues that I’ve dealt with for many years. He’s very knowledgeable and professional. I’ve also had good experiences with the front desk staff. 5 Stars!!

I found this doctor to be knowledgeable. Unlike MDs and other DOs, he knows how to read secondary thyroid readings. I went to a presentation by this doctor at Natural Grocers. I was seeing Allison Brumley, ND. She also is an acupuncturist. I also need adjustments, so chose a DO. Up front, I told Dr Rodgers I needed a team player. He told me he guessed he could let someone else make the final decision. I told him I make the final decision. Also that I'm pro-active in my health. I research. I was sent a link to the portal. I could not get it to sign me up twice. It is the only portal where I've had a problem. I purposely have my labs sent to Lab Corps. Two business days after results are sent to the doctor, they are released to me. When Dr. Rodgers came in, I pointed out one test result was abnormally elevated. I wanted to get right to that, because I wanted to get right to what to do about it. He insisted on going through all of the results. I had questions, but my 15 minutes was up. In the past, when my heart pounded and other symptoms, my cholesterol was elevated. Since I was due for yearly labs, that is why I had them done. My cholesterol readings were good. At another appointment I talked with him about exercises for my neck to strengthen it. He said look on the internet, it has the same he'd tell me. I was concerned about the pain. He wanted me to have x-rays before adjusting me again. I immediately did them. I still wanted to know about the pain, what was causing it? He said I'd need a spine specialist. He left the room, without referring me to a specialist. To whom do I go? During an adjustment appointment, I brought up the test that was elevated. He remarked it was my gallbladder. I decided I'd have some acupuncture before doing anything else. But Dr. Brumley said it could be other things, (she mentioned a couple, I mentioned I also read it could be cancer, but with the anti-oxidants I take, I doubt that). She wanted me to run some tests. I called Dr. Rodgers office to leave a message. I missed answering the return call, I was merely told to make an appointment. I called back and the receptionist answered (whom I was shocked she answered and she told me the office has a policy not to answer phones, leave a message and someone would call back). Because I had a new phone and didn't know how to answer it (different than the previous one that stopped working) she gave me her e-mail. In an e-mail or the follow-up phone message I left because nobody responded to the e-mail for a few days, I stated we'd already gone over lab results, could he just order the bloodwork. I would come in for the results if I needed to do so, then take the results to Dr. Brumley for acupuncture. He told me my first appointment he'd be a team player with my DO/Acupuncturist. NOBODY ever responded to me. I had an appointment for my pounding heart. I was frustrated to the point of anger. I decided to cancel the appointment. I e-mailed the office manager to cancel the appointment. I still received messages reminding me of my appointment. I was in Bountiful before the appointment day, so went into the office to cancel the appointment in person. When I went for one of the above appointments, I had more than one thing to discuss. I wrote them down so that I could focus on what I needed to address in a 15 minute appointment. He saw I had more than one thing on the list and told me to stick to one thing, it gets too complicated with multiple items. The doctor asked a question and I forgot to give him more information. I sent a message to the office manager, to send the message to him. She told me to send any further messages through the portal. I e-mailed back I haven't been able to sign up. Send me a link again, I'll use a computer at another facility to see if I can get in. No e-mail with a link. I went to another doctor = results

If I could give Brian Rodgers zero stars I would. He misdiagnosed me for something that he didn't test for AND treated me for that diagnosis. He is nice but unfortunately has no idea what he is talking about. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion.

Pro is that the office is clean and really pretty. Doctor and the Physician's assistant are really nice. Cons are that the people in the office are nice enough but definitely not organized. The medical assistants also all seemed like they didn't want to be there. They told me that I would have an particular test done but then never told me the results despite several messages I left them asking for results. I got the bill in the mail and found that they never actually had the test done. I am really disappointed as the test was to figure out why I was having a recurring problem and if there were other items that needed treatment. I have gone to them a couple different times and had similar experiences both times so I don't think it was a one time thing. Unfortunately I will be finding a new doctor at this point that I can trust to follow through.

Dr. Rodgers is your best choice for a physician in this area. He is very knowledgeable and well informed about medical issues and is NOT a pill pusher like so many others in medicine. He knows the dangers of many medicines and will recommend more effecive ,natural ways of confronting health problems.I have serious health problems, injuries and he's much more human in his approach to patients then most others.HIGHLY RECOMEND !!

To the people that wrote the first few comments I don't understand why you are all hating on Dr Rodgers I have been going to dr. Rodgers now for a very long time and he has always been firm but at the same time fair I also at one point in time got kicked out of his office but that was my own fault and I am man enough to admit that I called him on the phone one day the after-hours phone and he answered and I had a conversation with him asking him if there was any way I could get back in to his practice and he gave me a chance to do that and he ended up taking me back. so is he firm yes but is he also Fair absolutely! he has always been a great doctor for me and he is not afraid to call you out when you need to be called out on something. I know enough about him after going to him for so long that he would not just kick someone out of his practice without a valid reason, he is a good doctor.

Just a give you medication and get you out the door kind of MD. Gave me medication he shouldnt have and now Im addicted. Wouldn't recommend

I have been going to Dr Rodgers for over 15 years. He always takes time to discuss problems and resolutions with me. He is knowledgeable about how the body works and encompasses the whole being and not just the medicine. The staff is always kind and helpful. I would recommend him .
