Brooks A Bahr's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Bahr is the best dermatologist in valley hands down. I've seen him a bunch of times over the year with acne concerns and others. I saw him at the U of U practice, and also at his personal practice in Bountiful (new office is amazing by the way!). He is very great with handling my concerns and they always can fit me in during a time that works for my schedule -- even if its last minute. I appreciate Dr. Bahr's knowledge and expertise.

This was a few years ago but still makes my blood boil. I saw Dr Bahr for worsening acne. I thought my IUD was a culprit—but before I finished my question, he scoffed, turned to the male medical student shadowing him that day, and mocked me, saying "I don't know, *I've* never been on birth control"—and laughed in my face. Never even answered the question. I was shocked to say the least. The student was clearly uncomfortable but didn't say anything. I felt stupid and doubted my question even though I knew I had read reputable sources (other doctors since then confirmed this). Either he was just incompetent and had never heard of a very common cause of a very common skin condition, or maybe he was sexist and didn't care to know how to treat half of his patients? Completely deflating experience for a young woman who had severely low self-esteem and put off getting help for a long time, only to get humiliated while in an extremely vulnerable position. It still makes me angry-cry sometimes

I would recommend Dr. Bahr to everyone. He is personable, knowledgeable and cares for the well being of his patients.

Dr. Bahr was very through in treating my skin cancers. I have had several other dermatologists in the past. He is the best . He took the time to understand my concerns and resolved all of my issues. His team has earned my highest praise.

I just finished up a second cancer removal done by Dr.Bahr! He did a beautiful job & left a barely, visible scar I’m happy with! Obviously, I trust my new incision will turn out just as perfect! Dr. Bahr & his staff are very professional & friendly. They make you feel you are important & instantly eases your fears. All, very personable & professional! I will always be a returning customer/patient when treated so nice & like family! I’ve always highly recommended Dr. Bahr & will continue to do so! Thank you!!

They made a not-so-pleasant procedure as easy as possible. They are caring and easy to work with.

We drove a few hours to see Dr Bahr and it was worth the drive! He was so attentative, and answered all of our questions plus some. We never felt rushed and he definitely knew what he was talking about. Highly recommend seeing him, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely, the nicest & professional Dermatologist! I was referred by his Father~in~law, Dr. Burr who treated me up in Meridian, Idaho & just as nice! I, instantly trusted Dr. Brooks Bahr! His staff is just as personable & friendly, yet they all maintain professionalism. I left there feeling so positive & happy! And this was after I had skin cancer removed. I will refer him to anyone asking, in a heartbeat & I will always return!!

Dr. Bahr is an excellent dermatologist! He has been thorough and aggressive in helping me with Sun damage related non-melanoma skin cancers. Four of six biopsies over the past three years turned out to be cancers. He is patient and spends the time to follow up and to make referrals and encourage preventive care for precancerous skin lesions. Great staff as well.

Dr Bahr and for that matter his whole staff were very accomodating and easy to work with. Dr Bahr listens and is very gracious with his time. I had my own appointment and one for each of my kids and left feeling great about the whole experience. I have been in sales my entire life so the way you are treated by a provider of any service is of upmost importance to me and I dont have a problem calling out issues but I was very, very satisfied with and appreciate Dr Brooks and his staff.
