She completely misdiagnosed me because she was too focused on my current weight instead of the whole picture of my health. I've had these health problems for years, while I fluctuated from underweight to overweight. Will definitely not see again.

Not only is Dr Rivera knowledgeable about all health issues but she really listens and has a genuine concern for my welfare. I have been so grateful to find a doctor that really cares and wants me to be healthy - mentally/emotionally and physically and is helping me to be so. I can honestly not say enough good about her.

My first visit with Dr Rivera went very well. She was very through and took the time to talk to me regarding everything she was doing. I had to travel over 100 miles one way and felt she is well worth the trip.

Dr. Rivera was polite during the visit and seemed as though she was going to help me get to the bottom of the issue. I was sent to do bloodwork. I hadn't received the bloodwork after 5 days, so I logged in to my portal to request an update. There were 5 items that were flagged for areas of concern. I got a message back stating that the doctor reviewed my blood-work and that it was essentially normal with the exception of Epstein Barr Serology, which could explain fatigue and that there is no cure. No explanation of the other areas of concern, no offer for further care other than to "Let her know if I needed anything else" In a moment of frustration, I wrote the doctor asking if there was nothing else she could do and why she wasn't concerned about the other bloodwork. Got the rudest message back, how dare I challenge her to review my blood-work again. If you want EGO instead of EMPATHY this is the place.

Dr. Rivera was so kind and interested in my little 93-year-old mom. Dr. Rivera really listened and asked the right questions to make mom feel like all of her concerns were being addressed. We're new to the area, and it was such a relief to find a doctor for mom that was both very knowledgeable and very compassionate. Dr. Rivera's assistant and staff were terrific, as well. I'm grateful that another retired doctor in the area recommended their office to us, as they provided the best doctor's office experience we've had in many years!

My first visit to BIM was fantastic, however my follow up Appointment was Terrible. After being left in an exam room for 40 minutes I could not wait any longer as I had other meetings to get to on time. After spending almost the entire day after trying to reschedule I am told she has no openings. This was after being told through the patient portal that there were a myriad of appointments open for her this next week. After speaking with the office manager I am convinced that she is the core issue and has trained her staff to follow her lead. Has health care in Utah gotten so out of the business of caring for the actual patients? I really just needed her to re run some lab work that she said I needed to have done. Is this how so many patients end up hearing they have stage 4 cancer just weeks before they die.

I am very happy with Dr. Rivera and am recommending her to a coworker. She is efficient, very professional and at the same time very caring. I am a new patient of hers as she took over my previous doctor's practice. I never have to wait too long for an appointment and her nurse is also very helpful, encouraging and professional. I appreciate her quick answers to questions when I send a message through the health portal.

Dr Rivera was very tentative and took time to listen and very knowledgeable.
