Fantastic

I had an initial exam with one of Dr. Parr's PAs. She was very thorough and accommodating. The office visit lasted almost an hour. This was after I had my ultrasound by the hospital. She explained the process with me, reviewed my ultrasound results in detail with me, explained the base line of where my legs were and where they should be. She told me a veinagram would be the next step. She told me it took some time to have medicare approve the procedure. I had the procedure yesterday. The nursing staff at the hospital was very cordial and helpful Dr. Parr answered all of my questions and asked more than once if I had other questions. He gave me his opinion of what needed to occur and left the decision up to me. I am an attorney and recognize the importance of full disclosure. Dr. Parr excelled at this. The procedure went smoothly and I look forward to having the further procedures. All physicians should practice as Dr. Parr does.

Great experience with vein issues in my legs

His office is horrible!!! His staff only see their patients as a number and has no care to treat them as people. If you can avoid using him please do. I was referred to him and the were unable to even get a pre authorization. Me and my wife had to contact the insurance direct and then inform his office what the needed to get the preauthorization. When I went through other channels to find out what was going on meaning contacting the hospital that he does procedures through. I was informed through the case manager that I can take up to 7 months to obtain a pre auth. The insurance biller does not talk to the scheduler effectively and the scheduler has no care about the patients. His office has no problem lying to the patients, are not accountable for their mistakes and has no problem blaming insurance companies for their incompetency or neglect. The office manager was completely aware of my situation and displeasure and only tried to cover their actions with the referring doctor.

Our first visit was good. My husband had a surgery to see if his veins could have the surgery’s that would repair his leaky veins. He would need surgery on both legs. Their office was to get these surgery’s approved by his insurance. After about three weeks he called. They had sent in the wrong code, so submitted again. It has been two months, he calls and leave messages, but no one returns his calls. We are now going to a new Doctor!

Dr. Parr is absolutely amazing. The BEST in the vein business. Before seeing Dr. Parr, I had horrific varicose veins. They were painful and very protrusive. I’m 32 years old and I felt trapped in 80 year looking legs. I couldn’t wear shorts for nearly 10 years. After I was done having kids I decided to go Dr. Parr based off a recommendation from a dear friend (this friend actually has worked with many, many IR doctors, and vascular surgeons throughout the Wasatch front and insisted that Dr. Parr was the best). During my consultation he explained everything and answered all my questions that I had. I ended up needing two procedures because of the amount of work that was involved and I almost looked forward to getting my second procedure! He’s so nice and actually very funny. He made me feel incredibly relaxed and taken care of. The end result was nothing short of amazing, I feel confident wearing shorts and I have beautiful 32 year old legs!

REFERRED TO DR PARR BY PCP. MODERATE WAIT FOR SCHEDULED CONSULT. FIRST CONSULT OF DAY AND WAITED AN HOUR AND 15 MIN. HE DID NOT REVIEW TEST RESULTS WITH ME. MA GAVE ME A PAMPHLET AND SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO SEE WHAT I DECIDE. SHOCKED TO RECEIVE A "FACILITY CHARGE" IN ADDITION TO CONSULTATION FEE. HOSPITAL SUBMITTED (NOT PAID) FEE OF OVER $1200. AS FACILITY CHARGE. WON'T BE HIRING DR PARR.

He listens well to his patients and speaks in a manner in which I can understand. He addresses all of my concerns and follows up with me when required. I feel I have been given 5 star care every time I've seen him and his knowledge on pop culture trivia gets me through my appointments!
