They sent me to collections without sending any bills or calling me directly and haven’t even left any messages. How am I supposed to pay without knowing how much I owe and without receiving ANYTHING. Poor practice on their part. About the actual visit, I didn’t even see the doctor requested either, and waiting almost and hour to see anyone. Do not recommend.
Ljepo uredno za svaku pohvalu.
Dr Johnson is extremely qualified . He fused L2 through L5 for me with his most updated training AND he was personally interested in me before and after surgery. I would recommend any one to him experiencing chronic back problems as he is not quick to surgery like most surgeons and will direct you to the best solution for your back.
I was very nervous going in but they put me at ease and I left feeling much better with a boost of confidence for my future
Useless! I went in for some pain near my hip. Orthopedic means the study of the musculoskeletal system, right? The PA for Hickman was nice and listened to my complaints. Since nothing was wrong with my hip on the x-ray she pushed me out of the office as fast as she nicely could. She had no idea what was wrong, and no idea where I could go for help. My chiropractor provided a better examination, showed more concern, and was willing to provided suggestions to alternative providers. Avoid this practice!
Do not waste your time and money going to Dr Paul Johnson. I spent almost a year trying to figure out what was wrong with my back and fix the chronic pain I deal with. I finally got a referral to a back specialist. I drove to see him at the bountiful location to get in as soon as possible. I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out any paperwork so I was ready at the time of my appointment. I had to wait around 45 minutes before anyone took me back. I then waited an additional 15 minutes before a tech came in and went over the basic questionnaire. After an X-ray and more waiting the doctors assistant came in and told me they couldn’t find anything wrong. She said “back pain is normal, maybe it would be fun to try yoga.” After finishing that unhelpful conversation where I was made to feel that no one was taking my pain seriously or cared at all. I was sent on my way. I had worked so hard to get to a back specialist desperate for help, and I didn’t even speak with the doctor. I didn’t even see him. A few weeks later I received my bill and they encourage online payments. Of course Dr Johnson doesn’t have that option set up. I call the billing company and they said I needed to pay the office directly. I call the office and it took about 8 different calls to finally get the bill taken care of. I am so disappointed with this company and absolutely do not recommend them. They will gladly waste your time, take your money, and put zero effort or work into helping you unless it’s an obvious problem. I feel so frustrated and defeated. I wish the doctor would have been willing to take at least five minutes out of his day to speak with me, and I wish they would have put really amount of effort into helping me, but obviously they do not care about that.
Very organized and efficient. Friendly and caring staff. The highest recommended in the area. Trusted by other medical professionals for their own needs.
More than 2 months after my visit, my insurance company state that no claim was ever submitted. I am getting a bill from this provider marked as PAYMENT DUE NOW. It shows my insurance with no payment received. This would make the average person assume their insurance had been billed. If they are going to have these unethical billing practices perhaps they shouldn't take on patients who have worked in insurance billing and coding for over 20 years. IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THIS PROVIDER ONLY PAY THE AMOUNT ON THE EOB THAT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY SENDS YOU. It is very possible that the bill that you receive from this provider is inaccurate. I have been charged $328 over my patient obligation.
Dr. Hickman and staff done a wonderful job. I highly recommend them.
This review is only for Dr. Eric Johnston. He performed a new procedure of foot surgery on my daughter in 2017. She was in a lot of pain and when she went in for x-rays, he told us it was healing when it obviously was not. He kept saying it would heal. His PA looked very concerned about the results but he refrained from saying anything. We waited for over a year with no healing. We went to 3 other doctors who told us the surgery did NOT work and she would need to have reconstructive surgery. I feel this doctor is too quick to suggest surgery. Always get more than one opinion. I only hope he will be more upfront and truthful in the future for others. My daughter's reconstructive surgery was a smooth success by another doctor in 2019.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
