Russell Todd Md's Online Review Report Card

I was extremely impressed at how accessible Dr Todd was after my surgery. The staff was quick to return my calls and if needed he would call me back directly (what other Dr does that?). If I needed to be seen he some how would fit me in - even when it was his day off. In his office I felt listened to and not rushed, he was patient and and gave me time to explain my symptoms and concerns. I received professional care from Dr Todd and I appreciate that he was not quick to recommend more surgeries which in my case ended up being necessary. Thank you Dr Todd

Dr. Todd is very compassionate and knowledgeable! I had a great experience.

Dr. Todd grossly misinformed my family about our mother’s health, leading us to believe her life was in imminent danger. He also told us that she would not survive the surgery needed to correct her condition. Upon talking to a surgeon at the U of U hospital, we came to find that none of these things were true. My hope would be that Dr. Todd would educate himself about the current realities of certain conditions he deals with BEFORE scaring the tar out of people. Apparently this knowledge has been around for 14 years. Our family does appreciate that he did not attempt to continue the surgery when it became apparent that he could not correct the problem himself. **Update** I tried calling the office as requested in their response to my review, but Andrew couldn't take my call and apparently does not have a voicemail. Again, not so stellar. My mother has since had the surgery at the U of U, it took the doctor there an hour, to laparoscopically correct her problem. She is now doing great.

Absolutely brilliant -- General Surgeon Todd is superb. Having been diagnosed with stage 2a colonic cancer, I was privileged to be placed under the surgical care of Dr. Todd, whose skill and expertise (as many who work at Lakeview Hospital, technicians but also former patients, will attest) remains peerless. I am gratefully indebted to Dr. Todd for the successful laparoscopic colectomy he performed that fully excised this foreign invader from my body. I can't recommend him highly enough.

excellent pre and post op followup. Although I was there during the surgery I did not observe how it went, however I am please with the results.

Very professional and excellent care and follow-up care. Dr. Todd has a wonderful bedside manner and is an excellent surgeon. I have had multiple procedures done by Dr Todd and I trust him completely. I recommend him as a physician without hesitation.
