List of Wasatch Pediatrics - Grow Up Great's Reviews
Doctors are great. We've seen Dr Loftus and Dr Burnett. Admin staff let us down. We traveled from Ogden because we've been going Lakeview for years. We were unable to see the doctor because the office administrators failed to get an ASL interpreter in time for our 2 week well baby check. Office manager tried to put the blame on us, telling me they needed 24 hours notice, even though we booked the appointment 2 weeks prior using an interpreter. Never have we had that kind of experience, everywhere in the medical world is very sensitive and accommodating. We are quite disappointed because the doctors are great, but we decide to go elsewhere.
I would NOT recommend Dr. Tew if you want to have a proactive role in your child’s health care. I expressed concern about vaccines (as an expectant first time mom) and he said “you people are making the world unsafe for the rest of us.” It was very awkward, he was the most disrespectful doctor I have ever met. As we were leaving he said “what’s your name again?” I’m sure he wanted to blacklist me from the office. I understand that vaccines are a trigger point. I’m not against vaccines. But your doctor should be there to assist you in YOUR healthcare plan for YOUR child. Not to dictate your choices and demean you if you disagree. It took me a long time to regain my confidence as a mother in making decisions for my child after meeting with dr Tew.
It is so deeply frustrating to never be seen within a reasonable wait time. Every visit we wait to see the Dr for a minimum of an hour. If the physician is behind schedule there is no reason to not offer a courtesy call to let the following patient reschedule. It’s unfair to the children to sit in a small room for an unforeseeable amount of time. We’ve been loyal to grow up great for 6 years but quite frankly I’d rather find a physician that values their patients more.
I love this office! Dr. Tew has seen my daughter since birth, and he is an amazing provider. He is gentle and patient with children. He always listens and stops to ask if you have any questions or concerns about your kiddo's development. I always know my daughter is in good hands! I have seen other doctors and nurses at this location. They are also wonderful, helpful, great with kids, and go above and beyond. Office staff are exceptional. I make the drive from Lehi to Bountiful so my daughter can continue receiving awesome care from Grow Up Great. 100% worth it!
We love love love all the doctors at Wasatch Pediatrics. I have never had a bad experience. The nurses are fantastic and always great to answer my calls when I have questions. I have never felt dismissed or paranoid when I am worried about something. Dr. Hildebrand is patient and understanding; she calls back about test results and questions we have. When she is unavailable we have had a great experience with the other doctors there as well.
We love our Dr. and we have had a good experience until it’s billing time. We have a stack of bills after having a baby. I can’t possibly keep track of which bill is for what or who and it’s frustrating to keep getting bills that I have already paid. I got another bill for over $600. I had to call to figure out that the bill should have never been sent to me because there are waiting on my insurance to pay it. I just got another bill for $91 that I swear I paid so I finally found my receipt and it’s been paid. It’s a good thing I’m broke or I would have paid bills I don’t even owe. I don’t know which bill hasn’t been paid. When I receive a bill I just assume it’s legitimate.
Had to leave without seeing the doctor at my daughter's 2 month visit because doctor was overly busy after I had already been waiting an hour for her to come in. For my daughter's 2 week visit we waited over 2 hours in a hot room. The nurse always come in with ice water to apologize and has no explanation as to why every time I have gone there it is over sn hour long wait time. I made the appointment in the morning to not have these kinds of problems. Never had problems anywhere else for well child visits. I think they are over scheduling and taking on new patients when clearly they don't have time.
We have been seeing our doctor at this location for years and it was great when the kids were younger as she was very thorough and kind. Apparently she has become too busy as most doctors in Utah have because it is very hard to get an appointment and now it seems she cannot take the time she used to in order to give a thorough examination. She did not address any parental concerns and there is no reason to fill out a parent questionnaire if a doctor is not going to use the information as part of the office visit. It's unfortunate but it is time to find a new doctor. I leave 4 stars because up to this point she was an incredible doctor.
I feel so fortunate that my kids have an amazing pediatrician. Dr. Tew is excellent. At my daughter’s 18 month well visit, he patiently demonstrated each action on my 5-year-old son first so that she could see what he was going to do to her. And my son loved being involved in the whole process and listening to his sister’s heartbeat with the stethoscope. I would recommend Dr. Tew and this excellent clinic to any family looking for a pediatrician.
Our doctor is kind and professional but it is the nurses that I love!! They are always willing to let me stay in the exam room to nurse by baby after the appointment, and they bring me water and chocolates while I do. At our last appointment I was feeling light-headed, they saw that I was pale and started to bring me food from their own lunches to bring up my blood sugar before I drove home! I have been so grateful to have nurses that attend so lovingly to my baby and to me. I absolutely recommend them!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
