Sooo good doctor
Great! Very knowledgeable and patient. Gave me lots of options.
May be good doctors, but they schedule multiple people for the same time slot, (asked the receptionist, she said that is how the system is set up!) waited 45 minutes in the waiting room, then put in a room to wait some more. I guess their time is more important than the patients time. We have been here for over an hour now, still no doctor .
Dr Higbee did my carpal tunnel surgery. He did a fantastic job. Recovery was quick. I am much better now. He and his staff were professional and treated me well trough the whole process. Thank you?
Dr. Higbee recently performed carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. The surgery went smoothly. I honestly had no pain during recovery and now four weeks out am doing very well. I compliment the doctor, the surgery center in Providence, and the nursing staff. Everything went smoothly and am definitely pleased with the outcome.
My only complaint with Dr Higbee was I was sluffed off onto a PA. I didn’t want the PA. I wanted Dr Higbee. Several years ago he was the ER Dr that took care of me after an ugly auto accident and his skills were amazing. So to be brushed off to a PA was upsetting. There was a I’ll left unpaid by the insurance 10 years ago that they would like paid though...perhaps I’ll have the PA handle it?
I love Dr. Higbee and his office! They totally validated my pain I 'd been experiencing for nearly a year with a physical cause! He is kind, nice, professional and Knowledgeable and will do his best to answer your questions. One bad thing on my part is I forgot to ask all my questions when I was in his office. I also wish I could have seen the results for myself of the tests given to me as patient as well as my chart or obtained a copy of my medical file for my own personal use. His staff is very kind and friendly and do their best to take care of their patients. I'm managing my pain conservatively as recommended by Dr. Higbee because he says that is what he would do first if he were in my situation. If I ever decide on stronger meds or Surgery. I would definitely consider Dr. Higbee as my Surgeon I would even go back to consider him tracking my diagnoses progress whether it stays the same or gets worse. I would give Dr. Higbee and his staff 4-5 Stars for caring for me! Great!
I can’t thank Dr. Higbee enough for the extra time and care and expertise he took with my husband’s shoulder surgery. A 2-hour surgery took him 4 hours because he cared enough to try to patch up a real mess, a result from a serious vehicle accident. My husband is almost 3 months post-op and he is doing fantastic and getting better and better every day! THANK YOU Dr. Higbee!!!!!!
Dr. Higbee replaced both of my knees and recently replaced my husband’s knee. Not only is he a great surgeon, he is very kind and compassionate. My husband had medical complications following the surgery not related to the knee surgery and Dr. Higbee quickly consulted with another specialist and got my husband the extra care that he needed. He takes great interest in his patients and does everything he can to create a positive outcome. I highly recommend Dr Higbee for your orthopedic needs.
We just left Doc’s office after my 11 week post-op check after a major rotator cuff repair. The tendons were totally severed and had retracted deep into the shoulder tissue. He had to dig for the supraspinatus then slowly tease it out with the help of his assistant while he cut the scar tissue joining the tendon to adjacent tissue where it had adhered. It was really bad, the result of damage caused in a bad car crash. We’re so pleased and impressed that he had the skills and desire for such a complex surgery. I’m feeling great and gaining range of motion and strength every day due to his prescribed physical therapy. He’s a humble guy and doesn’t talk much about himself, so ask lots of questions to get the details you may want. That’s what we do. I’m scheduling my hip replacement as soon as my should strength is fully restored. After all, Dr. Higbee is the hip guy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
