I was told during my last nerve ablation procedure to make an appointment with him to make a plan for my back pain. When he came into the room he was very angry and told me that I needed to see his Nurse Practitioner. “I see hundreds of patients. How do you expect me to see all of them? You need to follow our system!” I have PTSD, and I apologized and left. I will NOT deal with the stress level his assembly- line practice is causing him.

LOVE Dr. Matsamura, Heidi Duckworth, and all of his staff. They treat me so good. They really do care about you and work so hard to help you. Great place!!!

I have been going to Dr. Matsumura since 2016. On my first appointment he very patiently reviewed my medical history to try to get as much information as possible about how I came to be in the chronic pain that I have suffered from for 32 years now. He has great “bedside” manner. He ordered an MRI and some other imaging so that there would be a current set of prints in my file. With each visit I always feel like Dr. Matsumura has his attention on me. The appointments never feel rushed and he always asks me at the end of the appointment if I have any other questions. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Matsumura to help me better deal with the constant pain. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Great doctor that really knows his stuff. He has demonstrated to me that he keeps up to date on any new developments in pain management too.

Dr. Matsumura turned my life around after 2 years of dealing with severe spinal and thoracic pain from a car ax. My pain prevented me from running, skiing and working pain-free. I was initially treated by a local ER. Unfortunately, they didn’t do a simple chest X-ray after my airbags blew. Luckily, I was referred to Dr. Matsumura who patiently listened to my medical history. He suggested starting with “the basics.” After a simple chest x-ray, he found that I had more than 8 fractured ribs!! Other ribs were healed and or healing. He referred me to an endocrinologist, who determined that I had osteoporosis (a bone disease that prevents bones from healing and leads to bone fractures.) I am extremely grateful to Dr. Matsumura’s patience, listening and persistence in diagnosing the source of my pain. One dr. thought my pain was psychological. Dr. Matsumura helped treat my pain while my osteoporosis improved and my ribs began to heal. He helped give me live again.

Absolutely love Dr. Matsumura and his PA Heidi. The only thing I have a problem with is when I have an issue and need to get an answer from the Dr. or have results read from an MRI no one calls back.

I walked in with mid-lower back pain that was ruining my life. In a single visit with an epidural, my pain dissipated to a tolerable level within days. This was after getting RFA with no results and a surgeon explaining to me there was nothing he could do. Dr. Matsumura is a miracle worker and has an equally amazing staff. Would recommend to anyone in chronic pain, even if you’ve been told you’re out of luck.

Wonderful doctor. I had no pain through or after the procedure. Staff was helpful and professional. I would recommend Dr. Matsumura to all that need spinal pain help.

I absolutely adore Dr Matsamura and all of his staff I deal with. I see them every month for my many chronic pain issues. I suffer from neuropathy, pains from past cancer treatment and a broken neck fusion. They all; Rosie, Heidi, Dr Matsamura and the rest of the nurses are so kind and caring about helping me. They have a very clean procedure room there so I don’t have to go other places for epidurals or RF treatments. Great people, at every level.
