HE IS THE BEST ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON IN UTAH
Dr. Scholl operated on my 16 y.o. son's shoulder. We thought it was just for a torn rotator cuff. Dr. Scholl accidentally cut his bicep muscle and re-attached it improperly, it is now hanging down by his elbow. He tried to tell us he was doing a biceps tenodisis too, but we never discussed this before surgery. He never even mentioned it before surgery. After he realized how big of a mistake he made he asked us to leave his office and that he can not fix his own mistake. Now we have to find another doctor to fix Scholl's mistake. All the other doctors say it will never be the same even after they fix it. What we need now is a good lawyer. Please let any other doctor other than Dr. Scholl operate on you, because he is a liar and an incompetent surgeon. If i could give zero stars I would.
Dr. Schol has performed 3 surgeries for me. 2 on my knees and one on my shoulder. He is extremely competent and I have been pleased with the outcome each time.
Personable, knowledgeable. Was recommended to me several years ago for my shoulders and did not disappoint. No complications with a recent distal biceps tendon repair. Good experience throughout the process.
Very happy with Dr Scholl and his staff. 100% would recommend him to anyone.
Hi, I went to see mr scholl because i had shoulder pain while playing golf and tennis. I also lifted weights, i could do over 50lbs shoulder press before surgery with some pain. After surgery with mr scholl i can no longer play golf or tennis, i have too much pain, probably five times more pain than before the surgery. I can no longer lift weights at all either. He cause something called a "popeye deformity" in my arm and told me i should be happy with everything. I also can no longer do yardwork or lots of routine stuff around the house that never bothered me before. I really wish i have never gone to see him and especially wish i did not have surgery with him. thanks
Mark Scholl operated on my right shoulder, he did a labrum, rotator cuff and without talking about it before the surgery he cut my biceps tendon and improperly re-attached it. It was hanging down by my elbow and causing tremendous pain. I had to have another surgery by a different doctor to fix his mistakes... DO NOT let Dr. Mark Scholl operate on you or anyone you care about.

I had surgery 2 years ago and my shoulder still hurts worse now than it did before the surgery... I WOULD NOT EVER ALLOW DR SCHOLL TO OPERATE ON ME OR A LOVED ONE EVER AGAIN!!!
Hi, I had shoulder surgery by Dr. Mark Scholl over a year ago... I thought i was just having shoulder surgery but during surgery he decided to cut my biceps tendon and improperly re-attach it. My biceps muscle 6 months after surgery was hanging low down by my elbow and was in constant pain. At the 6 month follow up appointment he told me that many of his patients are happy with that deformity and the surgery was successful. The next 3 doctors i went to all called it a failed operation and that it needed to be fixed. So i had another doctor fix his mistake. And it seems i might neeed a 3rd surgery to fix it better but it will probably never be right again. I would not recommend allowing Dr scholl to operate on you because I SURE WISH I HAD NOT HAD SURGERY by him. Too bad i can not post any photos here. thanks

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
