Anthony Gordon's Online Review Report Card

I waited for over a year before posting a review on my knee surgery for my torn meniscus to make sure of the results. And because this is the first review that I have done online. For me, the surgery went well and I no longer have Knee pain. Unless I look, I’m not sure of which knee had the surgery. Against Dr. Anthony Gordon‘s recommendation, I’ve continued to play basketball into my middle 50s with a little problem. Dr. Gordon was able to keep me calm and sent me home with pictures of inside my knee. I highly recommend him

Dr. Gordon Excellent bedside manner you don’t find many Dr’s. Like him anymore. He’s thorough he listens and gets to the problem. He ordered the MRI to confirm and determine the extent of damage I had done to myself. He scheduled my surgery quickly so I could get the problem fixed. He followed up the day after surgery. He and his staff are the Great. I have had several follow up appointments. He and his staff are there to help you make a full recovery to as good or better than before injury.

Excellent. Easy going, listens. Competent. What more could you want?

The Alta View ER diagnosed an elbow fracture, splinted and referred me to follow up with Dr. Gordon for more definitive care. Dr. Gordon's office shot new xrays, he came in the room for 5 minutes to explain the injury, make a joke about how my reduced range of motion would likely not be a big deal because I'm probably not a candidate to be a professional athlete, and then had his PA put on a new splint. The new splint was extremely uncomfortable - crazy that the ER tech did a better job than an Ortho specialist. When I realized that the pressure points on the splint were unbearable I called the office and told them I needed to return for it to be re-done. They responded by telling me that the office closes early on Fridays and that I'd need to return after the weekend (this was 2:30pm). They called me back a few minutes later and said that if I could get there in 15 minutes they’d re-do it, otherwise it would have to wait. Called TOSH and scheduled the rest of my care there. Wish I would have called them first. Dr. Gordon then proceeded to bill me over $400 for the "service". Lesson learned. Go to TOSH.

Dr Gordon did great work for me

Dr. Gordon is personable and explains medical issues and procedures in understandable terms. He performed orthopedic surgery on me and the outcome is so incredible I have been referring others to his practice.

Dr. Gordon did a sheath release on two of my fingers. I have had wonderful relief. My fingers are strong and they healed perfectly. I highly recommend Dr. Gordon.

At a time when you are unsure about your diagnosis & who to chose as a doctor I felt very confident after consulting with Dr Gordon on what my options were & what would be the best outcome for me. He was very easy to talk to because he knew how hard it was for me to have to do both hip surgeries & be down for that long, his staff were very helpful & patient also. It was a long journey & I'm feeling so much better & I can get back to my normal activities. Thank you Dr Gordon!

Dr Gordon is an amazing surgeon. I have been to few orthopedic surgeons for injuries over the years, and by far, Dr Gordon is the best! He takes his time explaining the injuries, the options that I have, the conservative vs aggressive options. He lets me decide how to proceed, depending on the amount of pain I am having. He is definately NOT surgery happy, but will schedule me for a surgical procedure if that,s what I decide. The staff is wonderful as well, especially his asst April!

What I thought was good treatment, ended up being not good at all. He kept waiting and waiting on ordering an MRI for me until I finally told him I needed one, so I could determine whether or not I would be eligible to compete in my sport. Turns out I need surgery, something I could have figured out 3 weeks ago if he hadn't kept asking me to "just come back in 2 or 3 weeks".
