List of Brett Doxey's Reviews
Dr Doxey kept asking if we had more questions--was very interested and took extra time for our questions. Great Dr/patient manners. Would highly recommend him.
I went to Dr. Doxey for the first time yesterday, based on high google ratings. It's a great feeling when someone is seeing you for a problem and you know he is an expert, and competent to the core. Doxey is thorough and knowledgeable. If there is a spectrum between warm-fuzzy-touch-feely and all-business, he is quite close to the all-business side. He could be a little warmer, but I don't care about that. A competent expert is what you're paying for. If you want warm-fuzzy, buy a teddy-bear. :-) Highly recommend.
Having moved to the area a couple of years ago I did a lot of research on my doctors. Brett Doxey was my best choice: extremely knowledgeable, listens to my questions and concerns, and has a great bedside manner.
I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Doxey two months in advance, this was his next available time which I understood and was willing to wait. A week prior to the appointment I received a call from his office requesting my medical records and sent them in as soon as I could. Once they were received, I got a voicemail from the office stating, verbatim, "Dr. Doxey did have a chance to look over your previous GI records and he's not accepting new patients right now who had previous GI records. So he looked them over and for whatever reason, he declined. So I will be cancelling your appointment." So why did they need my records??? Very frustrating experience.
He is very kind and takes all the time you need and isn’t rushing to get through your appointment. He also explains things so you can understand. Simple English
His caring, professional personality makes you feel like he wants to really help you, cure you. Not just fix you for the moment.
Dr. Doxey is punctual, professional, and quick. If you have a question he will answer it. If not, he will pass along the necessary information and move on. I appreciate how he keeps things quick and easy as I am not one for long waits or small talk after this particular procedure.
Dr Doxey is very thorough. He asks a lot of questions and goes over your medical history very carefully. Takes plenty of time, doesn't rush things. He uses a holistic approach, considering all options. He then has some back up options if his first plan doesn't work.
Brett always takes the time to listen and he asks the right questions. He makes sure he understands what is going on and provides detailed and thorough solutions. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Doxey took the time to ask thorough questions to determine best course of action. Some doctors hurry through to get to the next patient. I felt he took time to answer all questions and even wrote down instruction for me on a paper to take home. I would recommend Dr. Doxey for GI treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
