Kevin Wilson's Online Review Report Card

I will never go back to Dr. Wilson. I was told by his PA and other assistant about a procedure he could perform to help stop my nosebleeds after several cauterizes didn’t work. The assistant scheduled this procedure. They told me that he would talk to me before the procedure. I went in at the appointed time; Dr. Wilson didn't know why I was there. When I asked about the procedure, he said he didn’t know what I was talking about, in fact he said there was no such procedure that he knew of. He was very condescending and treated me like I was stupid and must have misunderstood, even though my daughter backed up what I was told. They charged me for the extra visit, even though he did nothing. I even called their finance person to mitigate the situation, but they still charged me for doing nothing! I found out from a different ENT that there is indeed a procedure. They also gave me a routine to help my nose heal from all the cautery. My sister-in-law has also had problems with Dr. Wilson!

I try not to leave reviews but when his billing department is not being honest and fair then I want to warn others. I had booked with his department for an ultrasound guided biopsy for my thyroid. His front desk assured my husband that he performed this service so we booked it. I come into my appointment for him to tell me he does not do them anymore due to not having the ultrasound and running into more complications just doing the needle biopsy unguided and not getting enough samples to send into labs. He referred me to an endocrinologist, who I had already had an appointment booked with that following week. So I am getting charged almost $300 for a service I did not even receive! I explained this to his billing department on multiple calls that I’m willing to pay something for his time even though it was a waste of my time, but I don’t agree to paying this amount of money when I was booked under false pretenses and turned away! We were warned to not go here from a friend who had a bad experience with him and went against that. I guess I should have listened. You should do right with your patients and actually work with them rather than your billing department just saying “oh well”. Not okay at all.

This office and Doctor deserve zero stars if that were an option. The office staff are so dysfunctional. They didn’t get an approval from our insurance company before my husbands procedure and failed take time to contact us and let us know, so both my husband and I took off work off and drove from an hour away, only to find out they canceled the procedure. (Mind you they had a months notice to get it taken care of) We also made an appointment with Dr. Wilson and yet we never , ever saw him.(until my husband was being wheeled back for his “procedure “, which ended up being way more than just a procedure) They gave us to the physician assistant. Who told us we needed to do a procedure in order for the insurance to approve a surgery. She never explained that the dr would be cutting and that the procedure would be invasive. Nothing on that scope was ever discussed! On the day of the procedure the doctor was so behind (over 3 hours) and not one word was said about them being behind. In fact the doctor never even came out to tell me my husband came out of the procedure ok not in person, . No phone call , no communication what so ever!!! And to top it off, he asked my husband permission to do the cutting while he was wheeling him into the procedure. He never even met my husband- this was the first time he met him, my husband explained he had 3 broken ribs , the doctor was completely uncaring and just added on “standard procedures “ to pad the bill for the insurance., with NO thought, worry, or concern of what the patient , my husband , was going through. He definitely left the feeling that this is a meat market , and your just being pushed through . I don’t understand the glowing reviews. This doctor is probably the worst doctor we have ever used. Completely unprofessional. Completely impersonal. If you don’t mind being left in the dark on what they will be doing to you, this is your guy. We reported everything to the Lone Peak Surgical Center and they just said all the doctors work for themselves, they don’t work for us, so it’s not our fault ….. it’s not our responsibility, we have no control over it. I would definitely suggest avoiding this doctor and the Lone Peak Surgical Center , not good medical care at all from either of them!

Very patient as I recapped the plan of action for my TMJ. Very professional and had a terrific bedside manner.

I had nose broken in 5 places, and Dr. Wilson was able to fix it in office without putting me under. He did a great job, and it saved us a ton of money. Great demeanor, and excellent staff as well.

Dr. Wilson is awesome. While checking for allergies he noticed a polyp in my nose. Two hours after having a Cat Scan Dr. Wilson called me to let me know of my weird situation. I have a piece of my brain hanging in my nose. Wow, I'm grateful for his abilities and caring enough to follow this through. Dr. Wilson is a true and caring professional!!!

Dr. Wilson is always at least 45 minutes behind and then in a big hurry once he is in the room.

Absolutely loved going to Dr. Wilson. Easy to talk to, great bedside manner. Highly recommend
