I went in for a cataract and I came out worse than I went in wished I never got it hoops junior put wrong Lens in and he will not do nothing about it. Veryunprofessional Hoops junior his quot is what do you want me to do about it. My eyesight is worse than when I went in the halos I can't even drive at night because of the halos are horrible Hoops junior will not do nothing about it

Unfortunately I feel I should warn anyone considering a corneal transplant to keep looking for your surgeon. Starting with being prepped for the wrong surgery. Nurse didn’t check the chart and prepped me for a cataract surgery. Followed by Dr Hoops being dismissive and forging ahead. Clinically keeping to his schedule. Recovery was horrific. Two year later I have had a wound revision, where he used more stitches and a tighter stitch I now have a very steep area that has created a situation where I have 11 stitches 2 1/2 years later with no further game plan. Apparently I can never have then removed. My vision was at 20/100 in my left eye when he dismissed me from his care. Dr Hoops washed his hands of me, sending me to the in-house contact lens specialist, avoiding acknowledging me when I encounter him at the office. My life is forever changed. Reading is laborious, I feel somewhat disoriented with such strange vision. How many things can you do with out good vision, including working? I am now on my 4 try to achieve an acceptable lens for my glasses and trying specialty contact lenses “medically necessary.’ It’s is a dismissal reality for me in the future. He dropped the ball so many times in my case. I see so many advertisements for Hoops. They are everywhere. I’m sure you have noticed. That is where the money goes. They must see 40 patients a day. It’s a factory.

Dr. Hoopes Jr. comes highly recommended. I recently had the SMILE procedure after being very nearsighted and wearing glasses or contacts since 4th grade. Dr. Hoopes Jr. was very through in explaining how the SMILE procedure worked. He also communicated everything that he was doing during the procedure. He was extremely professional, compassionate and caring. Thank you, Dr. Hoopes Jr., for giving me the blessing of having my vision back. Darla Brown

Outstanding!! I went to Dr. Hoopes Jr. for cataract surgeries. I've had cataracts 12 years but was really nervous about having surgery as I'm still young for having cataracts. I've gone to several Dr.s and can say that I'm so relieved I went to Dr. Hoopes. He's very understated and extremely talented, but put me at ease and did a wonderful job. I'm so glad I went to him. His office invests in client comfort, from a great staff to fresh cookies & bottled water w/ each visit. Highly recommend him!
