List of Scott Adelman's Reviews
The back surgery performed by Scott Adelman in 2021 put me into 6 long months of horrifying pain and depression. This happened because the surgery he did was harmful and completely ineffectual. I would actually give zero stars for his review. I’m wring this in 2023 because two+ years later I am still traumatized by the horrifying care of this arrogant healthcare provider. BTW: this man isn’t even a board qualified surgeon.
Dr. Adelman ruined my life by doing a procedure on me that should have never been performed. Then he couldn’t fix his mistakes. His license should be revoked and they should be out of business. Stay away!
About a year and a half ago Adelman fixed my blown disc by spending over 3 hours pulling the loose pieces away from my spinal cord. I couldn't even stand up on my left leg long enough to get thru a shower but today i am still without symptoms. I hike, walk my dogs and carry my new son around pain free
After having the worst pain in my life due to a herniated disk, Dr Adelman did his magic on my left side and I was shocked that there was no pain from the surgery and I have not had any recurring leg pain since the microdiscectomy. With his procedure, i was in and out in an hour or so and just left with a band-aid on my back. Went home and enjoyed the lack of pain. He even gave me a photo of all the material he removed from my spinal area that was pushing on the nerve. On top of the fantastic results, he was very personable. Bonus.
All of the staff there are wonderful people willing and attentive to the needs of those who they provide health care for have been with them for a while I would recommend them to friends and family alike
I had a snowmobile accident and fractured two vertebrae. I met with Dr. Adelman and his team and he met with me and explained my MRI and X-Rays and gave me some options and recommendations. I like the way he explained things to me and let me know also the risks involved. We decided to try the non-invasive procedure where they insert a ballon and lift my vertebrae and put a special cement to seal and maintain the vertebrae in place. The procedure lasted about 1.5 hours and after that I felt immediately relief of pain. I am very grateful with Dr. Adelman an all his team and staff they were very professional and friendly. Thanks for helping me!!
Just want to express my profound gratitude to the entire staff, the nurses, anesthesiologist, Dr. G and Dr. Scott Adelman: From beginning to end it has been effortless, almost surreal and magical. A rare thing in today Health Care System. The Lone Peak Surgical Center was stunning. Everyone from receptionist, to the entire nursing staff: Joyful, real, authentic, kind, considerate, skilled and professional while also having great "bedside manner". Truly a humanitarian experience. I have had two prior spinal surgeries by supposedly the best, this was score above and beyond. The follow up call the morning after by Dr. Scott was the ice cream on the cake. I am touched and in deep gratitude. Thank you to everyone. Arno Burnier, D.C.
Sorry for the delay in posting a review. I kept having bouts of sciatica and even though the steroid injections helped, the issues wasn't fixing itself. X-rays were taken and it showed I had 3 slightly bulging disks, one of which had a burr on it that when aggravated, pushed right on my spinal nerve. That's when my Smart clinic doctor turned me over to her colleague, Dr. Adleman. He went in laparoscopically and cleaned off the edge of that disk, unbulging it and fixing my pain issue. It was out patient surgery and when I awoke the first thing I said was "wow! the pain is gone!" His manner with his staff was a little rough, but, that is because he's a perfectionist and wants everything perfect for the surgery and patient. He was wonderful with me and I'd go back to the Smart Clinic if any other back issues presented themselves.
It is the day before Thanksgiving and I have to say I'm very thankful for Dr Scott Adelman. Thirty one days ago I could not walk and today I'm back to work and feeling pretty darn good for 30 days after surgery. I'm not sure what that one bad review was about because it certainly does not even sound like Dr. Adleman to me. He's not just a great doctor he has a great bedside manner and knows his stuff and will shoot straight with you. If you have serious back pain I highly recommend the Smart Clinic... and if you have to have surgery I highly recommend Dr. Adelman. Thanks again to the staff including Dr. Krull at the Smart Clinic without you all I would be spending the holidays in a wheelchair.
Dr Adelman helped me manage a lower back problem that I have been struggling with for 20 years. He has an excellent approach from diagnosis to course of treatment, and his advice on management has improved my quality of life.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
