I went in for a consultation with Dr.Carlisle it was the most horrible experience of my life he wouldn’t even sit down and look me in the eye he told me I had two minutes. Had a pelvic ultra sound read by Azura vascular. My GYN referred a consult w/Dr. Carlisle to follow up on pelvic congestion noted. 11:30 appt. After over 90 mins. waiting we were finally told about 1:10, Dr. Carlisle had started another surgery and wasn't sure how much longer he would be. At the suggestion of the office staff we rescheduled for the very FIRST appt. of the day, the next week. Arrived at 7:45 a.m. (as suggested), taken back at 8:07. About 8:40 told Dr. was in traffic. When he finally got in & "saw" us, 9:10ish he pretty much stood by the door ready to leave, told me, he didn't know why I was there, he wasn't the one who read my ultra sound & he hadn't looked at it. Go get an MRI, and left. Insurance was billed $610. $81 EXTRA for prolonged visit. I WAIT 3+ hrs and get charged for a prolonged visit?? Called about the charges and was told they'd call me back. ...Nothing. Called a week later & was disconnected after holding. Treated?? NO Billed YES!!!

I would not recommend going to Dr James Carlisle. I wasn't feeling well after my uterine emblization. So I went to my family Doctor. My family doctor called Dr Carlisle to inform him about my complication. Dr. Carlisle didn't care about me and wouldn't help me so my family doctor treated me for the pain and a bad infection. It is sad that my family doctor who doesn't do emblization will help me. But the doctor who did the emblization couldn't and wouldn't help me. A good doctor follows through with there patients health.

Dr. Carlisle is fabulous. He performed a uterine fibroid embolization procedure and it was went extremely. I would highly recommend him and his staff (Adam is great too)!
