Dr. Tamayo is the best physician I've ever dealt with. He is caring and understanding in a way that other physicians just aren't. When an ultrasound at a different hospital should a suspicious breast lump on a Friday afternoon, Dr. Tamayo made time in his schedule to do my biopsy. He could have had me come in on Monday, but he didn't want me to have to worry all weekend long. His kindness is matched by his willingness to explain my images and how they have changed over time. He answers all of my questions in a timely manner. This is so important when you're dealing with a cancer diagnosis. He gets it, and I wish there were more physicians like him.

He recognized my breast cancer on an ultrasound at a different hospital and had the ER staff send me to him immediately for a biopsy--even thought it was late Friday afternoon! He made every effort to listen and answer my questions. Even today, he makes time for me. No question is too small; he is the best example of what a physician can be.

Dr Yamayo took a great deal of time to show me my images and explain in detail what he was seeing on 4 years of images no just today. It was informative and I walked away with a better understanding of my breast health. Thank you

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Not only was he super inappropriate with his jokes and unprofessional. He has absolutely NO bed side manner. Please do yourself a favor, do not see the doctor!
